This is merely a matter of administration. The law itself is sound, and in line with the most progressive legislation enacted by any city, in the country. It is here to stay, and the majority of the people of this city will not tolerate for one minute any departure from the main provisions of the law that wouldinterfere in any manner with the proper inspection of the meat sold for consumption in this city. This paper believes that the meat dealers of this city fully understand thi8 iiud are in sympathy with the law as far as the inspection features As to the payment are concerned. of delinquent fees, that is another question which will have to be settled by those affected. This ordinance revises the license fees in regard to peddlers.
