Mr. Hoyt was born in this city March 4th, 1894, being only 30 years of age at the time of his death. Dur ing his life he ha8 been an active worker in the church having held the positions of presiding elder in the Nephi ward; secretary-treasurand of the missionary committee: necretary of the ward Sunday School and for a number of years was a Mutual officer, holding the office, of secretary in theStake M. I. A. As a public official he served an unexpired term as county clerk, and was elected to this position in Nov ember 1918. He also filled a two year mission to the North Western States for the L. D. S. Church. H was joined in marriage in June, 1919 to Miss Evelyn Christensen, to which union two sons were born. Earl B. and Kenneth J., who, inclu ding his wife survive him. He also leaves his mother, Mrs. Julia Hoyt, two brothers and one sister: James F. H. ning. Lunt, James H. Ockey, Lorenzo Mangelson and Raphael Garfield. Claims against the district on the recommendation of the committee were allowed and ordered paid. The question of boys wearing bathing suits in the swimming pool was discussed at some length, and on proper motion It was ordered that no bathing suits be used by the boys in the future. This action was taken to insure better santiary conditions owing to the fact that the suits are placed in the lockers wet and cannot properly be taken care of. The Sunday School of the Stake, were allowed the use of the High School Building each month to hold their regular Sunday School Union meeting, subject to the payment of any expense that may be Incurred. After disposing of some other minor business the meeting adjourn ed until the date of the next regular meeting February 10th.
