PAVING PROJECT LUNCHEON THEME Question of Extent of Paving Brings Out Lengthy Discussion Committees Appointed From Clubs. ORMER RESIDENT DIES IN MAMMOTH The mortal remains of Wm. Allen, who passed away the early part of the week at his home in Mammoth, was brought to this city yesterday where interment took place in th City Cemetery. Previous to the body being brought here, funeral services were held in Mammoth. Services at the grave side were in charge of Bishop A. II. Belliston, who made a few remarks on the life of the deceased. A selection was also rendered by a quartette composed of K. J. Bird, Arthur V. I"yper, Clarence Waruer and Paul E. Booth. William Allen was born in Provo in 1853 and was 69 years of age at the time of his death. He came with his parents to this city early in life where le lived for a number of years before going to Mammoth. Ho is survived by his wife and the following children: Joseph Allen, Mrs. Lela Brown, Mrs. Amy Olsen, of Mammoth, Mrs. Burnett Olsen of Santaquin, Mr. Wilford Allen of Salt Lake, Mrs. Claytie Lem- mons of Silver City, and Mr. Alva Alien of Eureka. He is also survived by his brothers in this city, Mr. A. A. Allen, Postmaster George A. Allen, Mrs. Thomas Alleman of Provo, and Mr. John Allen. The family of the deceased were all present at the funeral yesterday, also Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Alleman aad Mrs. Frank Allen and daughter, of Provo.
