The Golden Wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Warr was cele brated Fridaj, December 22ndi at the Home of their daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Belliston. The rooms were decorated with Ferns and Evergreens, with a large wedding cake for the centerpiece, and two small Christmas trees one at each end of the table. Turkey dinner was served as it was done on the occasion of their marriage 6 J years ago. Mr. Warr, was born August 18th, 1847 at Attercliffe, Yorkshire, England. Mrs. Warr was born March 15th, 1849 at Spotbrough, England, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Pressley of Rotherham, England. They were married Dec. 22nd, 1872, at Rotherham after which they moved to Sheffield, England. Nine children wer born to this union of which the following are now living: Mrs. C. W. Morgan and Mrs. W'ilfodl Belliston of Nephi, Mrs. A. E. Price of Burley, Idaho, Mr. Sam C. Warr of Idaho Falls, Idahp and Wilford A. Warr of Salt Lake City. They also have 26 grand children, and one great-gran- a child. Mr. and Mrs. Warr, left their native land in 1903 and came directly to Nephi, where they have since made their home The big meeting of farmers Is to be held in the Courthouse in this city on Saturday night next, at 7.30 o'clock This is the annual meeting of the Farm Bureau members for the election of officers for the ensuing year. Some member of the Executive Committee of the State Farm Bureau will be present to discuss Important topics pertaining to the problems which confront the farmer All mem bers of the Farm Bureaus of this county are expected to be present and the public is cordially invited. Many matters of Interest and importance will be presented and the outgoing officers desire to have all present. : LEVAN WILL HAVE NEW POSTMASTER According to word that reached The Times-New- s office this week from Washington D. C. our neighbor Levan will have a new postmaster in the near future. At the recent examination for postmaster, the civil service commission report that Mr. Clark S. Wood, passed the highest examination. Last Friday, Dec. 22, Congressman Don B. Colton recommended the appointment of Mr. Wood The office paid a for the position. salary last year of $50 per month.
