In recognition of the faithful public service rendered by Mrs. Diane G. Booth, Miss Merci Goldsrbough, and Miss Leeta McCune, there will be an entertainment given Friday evening September 15th, at 7.30 p. m. in the Tabernacle as a testimonial and grateful appeciation for the efficient work they have rendered the people of this city in so many public gath- erings. The entertainment will be given under the auspices of the Juab Stake Social Committee, and the admission will be twenty five cents, the entire proceeds to be given to these girls. Miss Merci Goldsbrough and Miss McCune will leave here soon for Boston, where they will pursue a course of study for two years. Merci Goldsbrough Violin Solo Prayer Bishop Thomas Bailey MARRIED IN MANTI TEMPLE WEDNESDAY "William Bailey surprised his many friends here Wednesday by taking a trip to the Manti Temple where he was joined in marriage to Miss Chloe Amanda Nelson of Salt Lake City. The bride is a daughter of the late A. C. Nelson, and former State Superintendent of Public Instruction. She has been prominent in the social life of Salt Lake, and has been employed at the State Capitol in the office of the State Supt of Public Instruction. The bridegroom is one of the best known men in the State, having been a member of the State Board of Equalization for many years, being chairman of this body at the present time.
