This water, Mr. Ripley stated was for sale, at $37.50 per acre foot at the dam, as his company was not prepared to bring it on to the land, this expense would have to be borne by those who purchased the water. After discussing the' matter for some time, A. F. Bracken, made the motion which was seconded by James Scbofield, that a committee be ap pointed to investigate the matter, as it seemed to offer an opportunity to get water for the ridge lands.
