From a recent article in the Salt Lake Tribune we learned that Utah Association has State Automobile changed the name of the Arrowhead Trail on all its maps to "Zion Park The Automobile Blue Highway." Book just issued for 1921, also de signates the Arrowhead Trail as the 'Zlon Park Highway." Whether or not the change of the name is better, we are not qualified to say. But he reason given for the change is not founded on truth. "Many foreign tourists who go ov er the highway" is the argument, do not know there is such a spot as Zion National Park, for the reason that it has been known as the Arrow head Trail." The truth is, not even the deaf or blind are allowed to pass over the Arrowhead Trail without learning that there is a Zion Park, that it is one of the world's wonders, that it is on the Arrowhead Trail, with ex act information as to the distance and roads to the Park The real reason for the change in name is fiat the Utah State Automobile Association does not want to see the Arrowhead trail become the ac cepted route to Southern California. They take what steps they can to ward breaking the trail up. They have another California trail more profitable to them and to their allies in California. Iron Country Record.
