The appointment of legal advisor was held over until the next meeting of the Board. Mr. Foote then asked what was the present status of the land recently said to have been purchased by the Board. President Garrett then explained the nature of the options that had been obtained on the property and the amount paid for same. The clerk then gave a short review of tha financial standing of the district, showing the amount of money that would be neccessary to carry on the schools until the close of the school term, also an estimate of the amount of funds that would be avail, able for this purpose, based on last year's appropriation from the State, but which for this year has not yet been received by tha district.
