At 12 o'clock noon, a parade of livestock will take place along main street and the citizens who have any fine animals, such as horses, cows, or pigs are asked to bring them out and let the people see them, as it is aimed to make this exhibit and parade a feature of the day. The exhibit in the Emro will consist of Canned and dried fruits, canned vegetables, a dressmaking exhibit, and a manual arts exhibit. In the evening a big dance will take place in the Arlington dance hall. COMMERCIAL CLUB DOINGS The Commercial Club held its re- gular meeting in the club rooms Tuesday evening, with a good attendance of members present. President A. V. Gadd occupied the chair and several mattters of importance were discussed relative to me welfare of the community. A communication was read from the Salt Lake Commercial Club inquiring if they could be of any- assistance to the club in helping to further any project that was contemplated. The question of the Levan Ridge water project then came up, and the letter was then transfered to the local and civic committee to take up the matter with the Salt Lake organization with reference to. this question. The plan to finish the work of clearing the park at .the Rangers' station was then discussed, and the committee who have the matter in hand were asked to wait upon the Mayor and have another day set In the near future to complete the work. A motion was then made that the Club give a social the same -- evening in the clUD rooms which was carried. ' The following were then elected as members of the club. Wm. Bailey, Robert Lqmax, W. h. Belliston, and Karl Kellerstrass. The club expects to bring the membership to one hundred in the near future, there are now over eighty members. Members who are delinquent in their dues are invited to visit Ralph Broueh. the secretarr at the Nephi National Bank, as the club needs the money, as it was the full sense of the meeting that the organization could not be run on hot air and bluff. The rooms are now fitted up with is now good furniture and the club taking on its old time appearance. HIGH SCHOOLS TO COMMENCE MONDAY The Nephi and Levan High Schools will open for this season's work next Monday, Sept, 22nd.
