The mystery of the robbery of the Commercial bank at Tooeje, Utah, on June 7, when the) cashier was bound and gagged and robbed of $9,998, seems to be clearing up. Saturday George C. lliggs. who has been made cashier of the bank since the robbery, and C. H. Walton, a real estate salesman of Salt Lake, were arrested, on the charge of being the robbers. The charge as made by S. I. Shafer, tbe cashier of the bank when the robbery occurred, who is alleged to have made a confession, declaring that the robbery was a put up job in which he and two other men were to share the money taken from the bank, liigga and Walton. It Is said, also confessed to par- ticipation in tbe robbery. Boy Killed in Grain Elevator. Malad.
