Radar bomb scoring equipment equip-ment at Air Force facilities near these two towns will use radio and radar signals to measure accuracy of simulated bomb drops. MARK OF EXCELLENCE Oak City News MACEL Mrs. Donna Anderson and Mrs. Ava Anderson drove to Oakland, Calif., leaving on Monday to take Roger, who was reporting for active duty with the U. S. Army. Donna and Ava returned Saturday afternoon after visiting some of Donna's relatives in Nevada and Calif. Mrs. Dainy Nielson is home after going to a Salt Lake hospital hos-pital where she has had treatment treat-ment by a heart specialist. She is feeling good and our best wishes are extended to her at this time. Mr. Dwain Finlinson end other members of his family visited in Montana last week with Kenneth Ken-neth and family. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Trumbo of Denver, Colo., visited Tuesday Tues-day with Mrs. Lemira Dutson and Macel Anderson. Miss Trudy Finlinson of Og-den Og-den visited a few days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Finlinson. Md. Raymond Finlinson of Covina, Calif, visited a few days with his folks, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Finlinson and other relatives and friends. Mrs. Margaret Roper returned home Saturday after a visit in Hinckley with Betty, Gene and family. Everyone seemed to enjoy Stake Conference. It is good to get together and have a spiritual spirit-ual feast at Stake Conference. Speakers a'. Sacrament meeting meet-ing Sunday evening were Dana and Gary Anderson of Louisi-anna Louisi-anna and Paul Anderson. A male chorus consisting of Bryant Bry-ant and Moyle Anderson, Glade Anderson, Kent Dewsnup and Robert Finlinson sang, "1 Need Thee Every Hour." Dana and Gary are sons of Elva;i and Phyllis Anderson. Dana filled a mission in Brazil ane Gary is leaving soon to fill a mission in Washington State. Mrs. Douglas (Kathy) Smith and daughter visited her folks, the Lyman Finlinsons a few days. We really had a frost here Friday night. It seems it was harder here than anywhere Anyway it put a stop to tomato toma-to picking in a hurry. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Casper and daughter, Cindy of Logan spent the weekend with Jeanette and Max Cox and family. Saturday they went out pinenutting, attended at-tended conference Sunday and returned to their home Sunda afternoon. -' - Macel Anderson and Jc-anette Cox made a business trip to Provo Friday. Mr .and Mrs. Arnold Talbot of Draped and Ludean an children of Nephi visited over the week end with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cloyd Talbot. Mrs. Genevieve Christensen visited Saturday at Spanish Fork with her sister, Krs. Nina Crosby. Don't forget to go to Sunday School at 9:00 a.m. Sunday morning because of Conference. Mr. and Mrs; Don Anderson were home again from Manti for the weekend and to attend Stake Conference. Our sympathy to Mrs. Evan Gardner and family. Evan taught so many of our studenls at the seminary. Mr .and Mrs. Glen Nielson of Caldwell. Idaho visited in Oak City Friday and Saturday and in Fillmore with their father. Peter Nielson who is in the Fillmore hospital. Mr. Willis Dutson is still in a Salt Lake hospital. Lynn and Edith Bennett of Richfield visited Macel Anderson Ander-son Monday morning. They are being transfered to Carson City, New where he will work as an engineer for the government. Ivan and Susan Shipley drove to Salt Lake to visit a brother, Wesley who has had open heart surgery a week ago at the Holy Cross Hospital. He is donig fine and if he continues to improve he hopes to be able to go home in the middle of the week. Best wishes from everyone for a speedy recovery.
