Show E E G A E NOTICES NOTICE OF VACANCY NOTICE is hereby given that a vacancy will exist in the Board of Supervisors of Millard County Drainage District Number Four. NOTICE Is further given that the Board of County Commissioners will on Wednesday, the Cth day of May, A.D., 1970, at the hour of 10:00 o'clock A.M. of said day, at the County Commissioners Room In the County Courthouse at Fillmore, Millard County, Utah, appoint a person to fill such vacancy; said person to be appointed to serve a term expiring at 12:00 o'clock midnight mid-night on May 1, 1973, and thereafter there-after until his successor in office is duly appointed and qualified. NOTICE is further given that if, at any time prior to the date set forth for appointing a successor to fill such office, the owners of title to land representing a majority of the total acreage of all lands within with-in said District shall sign and file a written petition with the Court Clerk addressed to the Board of County Commissioners and requesting request-ing the appointment of any certain cer-tain person to fill such office, the Board of County Commissioners shall appoint such person; but if no such petition bearing the requisite requi-site number of signatures shall be filed prior to the date herein specified for the appointing of a person to fill such office, then the County Commissioners shall immediately im-mediately proceed to fill such office by the appointment of any competent person whom they may select. The Second Ward Youth Choir gave the program in church Sunday Sun-day evening. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Long were in attendance and Mr. Long gave a talk. T. Black was called to Salt Lake Thursday morning as his brother, LaGrande Black had met with an automobile accident Wednesday night and was killed. Funeral services were held Saturday Satur-day in Salt Lake. Those attending services from Deseret were Mr. A. T. Black, Mr. and Mrs. Dean L Black, Mr. Waldo Black, Mr. and Mrs. Phil Eliason and Mrs. Edna Christenscn. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Conk and daughter, Amy of Kearns spent the weekend at Deseret. They attended attend-ed funeral services on Thursday for Ralph's aunt, Mrs. Elda Wheeler Mrs. Mabel Black has returned home after having spent the past ten days at Griddley, Calif, visiting with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Jackson and three children of Salt Lake visited Saturday and Sunday with Mrs. Jackson's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Peterson. Mr. and Mrs. Matt Cropper spent Friday at Richfield, Utah. Max and Anne Jensen and son of Salt Lake spent the weekend with Max's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Axel Jensen. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Mace of Flowell visited Sunday at the home of Mollie Dewsnup. Miss Kris Riding of Delta spent the weekend as a guest of Margo Eliason. Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Webb were at Salina Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Orin Allred went I to Salt Lake Sunday whore they visited with Mrs. Bui Alldredge who is in the hospital recovering from surgery. Mr. Laurence Bennett was visited on April 3rd by his son, LaMont Bennett and family of Richfield and Mr. and Mrs. Archie Barben and Colleen Stewart and children of Delta. Hope it will soon settle and be spring. Mrs. Janice Spencer and baby, Donald of Ely, Nev. are spending the weekend at the Chester Cor-betts Cor-betts and also visiting the Webbs in Hinckley. I send belated birthday greetings to Mr. Wm. J. Starley April 21st and also to Ray Fullmer on the same date. I some way forgot last week to mention our 24th great-grandchild, the little baby born to Mr. and Mrs. Jay Stone of Delta. He will be named Harlon Shane. Congratulations Congratula-tions Jay and Peggy. Little sister, Kimberly is very proud of her little brother. A lovely wedding at the Sutherland Suther-land church for Mr. Walt Howard and Patricia Lea Fullmer Satur -THURSDAY, APRIL 30, 1970 day night. A nice crowd came and enjoyed a short program. Tracy Fullmer was the MC. There were many lovely gifts. Mrs. Colleen Ashby and two daughters of Ely, Nev; Max, Evan and Tom Riding and their wives, (Luena Fullmer's brothers and sister) were all presen and Faye Tennant of Tooele came for the occasion and to spend the week end with us. Bryant and Geniel Fullmer Brush and baby, Terri Lynn of Las Vegas. Now everyone has gone home and Pat and Walt are on a short honeymoon. Then they will be in their apartment in Delta. Linda and Bob Barber of Salt Lake are spending the weekend at the Monroe Corbetts and the Barbers. Bar-bers. They attended the wedding Saturday night. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Petersen had their daughter Charleen and husband and family with them Saturday and Sunday, also son, Warren and wife of Salt Lake. Sunday Erma and Clifferd had a birthday dinner for Mrs. Rae Petersen. Peter-sen. 20 were present. Many happy returns of the day, Rae.
