We had about 3 to four inches of snow Sunday and more coming Monday morning. It isn't that we don's need it as we surely do. There were lots of people who came to enjoy the Sunday church services with us and do some visiting visit-ing for this special day. Mrs. Emma Talbot had an enjoyable enjoy-able birthday on Wednesday with their son, Arnold, Leslie and baby of Draper coming for the occasion and staying thru the rest of the week. Saturday Luanna and children chil-dren and Ludean and children visited as they couldn't make it on the right day. Emma was sporting sport-ing a lovely corsage that she received re-ceived as a gift. A group went to the temple to spend the day Thursday. Ivan Shipley took them over there. Clark Lovell, Lemira Dutson, Lorna Lov-ell Lov-ell and Margaret Roper. Thurlo Jacobson has been in the hospital in Delta the past several days with pneumonia. His family, Ada and theg iris were down Saturday Sat-urday and Sunday from Provo to visit him. Hope he is recovering and soon be able to be out again. The MIA sponsored a steak fry at the new multi-purpose room in honor of the basketball boys and their parents and leaders. It was lovely, I must say the YMMIA leaders know how to barbecue steak to its best. The Francis Anderson family of Ely spent Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday visiting and helping on the farm. It really was good to have them home a few days. Mrs. Helen Anderson had her family home, Newell and Dianne and baby of Midvale, they were having their spring vacation in their district; Moyle and Fred and Margene and family spent Easter Saturday with them. It's good most people got their Eastering done on Saturday. Mrs. Betty Dodge and son, Dana of Salt Lake were recent visitors of her mother, Mrs. Mae Shipley, who is confined to her home most of the time. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Alldredge and children of Las Vegas and Mr. and Mrs. David Lovell and Leland of Cedar were Easter visitors with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Lovell and son, Keith. They returned return-ed to their homes Sunday afternoon. after-noon. Gordon Nielson had his turn the past week with the flu. Seems it gets around so many have had it. Mr. and Mrs. Meldon Anderson and family of McGill, Nev. have spent a few days here with their folks, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Anderson Ander-son and Roger. Mr. and Mrs. Don Schmutz and Mr. and Mrs. Merton Lovell of St. George and Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Lovell. They then spent Sunday ! here with their folks. Debra was also home from school for the weekend with her folks. So they had a lovely time together. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Finlinson are visiting at the present time in West Jordan with Lee and Noreene Shipley and family. Their son, Raymond Ray-mond of Covin a, Calif, visited them in West Jordan and spent the week end here visiting his brothers and their families. Mrs. Quayle Dutson and little son of Salt Lake visited a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Willis Dutson and family. Lambert and Anna Jane and baby have moved back to make their home. They will live in the Willis Dutson home and have employment em-ployment here. It's nice to get some of these young folks back home to live. Mr. and Mrs. Delynn Nielson and children of Salt Lake visited their mother, Twiss Nielson for the Easter holiday also Mrs. Ellen Lyman Ly-man is still with Twiss. Mrs. Chloe Alldredge and EIRue and fiance of Granger visited over the weekend with friends and relatives rela-tives . Misses Hazel Christensen and Carolyn Roper of Salt Lake were also here visiting their folks. Boyd and Elma Anderson of Pleasant Grove visited Sunday with relatives and friends. They haven't been here for a long while. It was nice seeing them. Mrs. Jewell Mikesell of Blanding and LaRee and a friend of Cedar visited their folks, the Maiben Jacobson family for the Easter holiday. Mrs. Janet Torrens and family of Orem visited their folks, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Finlinson. Mr. and Mrs. Winston Nielson and children of Richfield visited their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Nielson and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Lovell. Mr. and Mrs. Dwain Finlinson enjoyed en-joyed visits from their family, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Persons of Kamas and Mr. and Mrs. Ken Finlinson and childen of Montana. ' Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Christensen had Ranae's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vern Laisen of Manti visit Sunday and Monday. Devon and Birdie Roper of J Tempe, Ariz, visited a few days with their folks, Mr. and Mrs. Bert , Roper and left Monday morning. Mr. and Mrs. Ennis Alldredge and Lora, Mr. and Mrs. Bradley Alldredge and Mr. and Mrs. Russell Mikesell of Sunset enjoyed a few days at their canyon home. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Christensen took their family to Salt Lake where they had a checkup with little Evelyn's doctor, then enjoyed enjoy-ed a trip to the zoo which was their Easter celebration. Verna May Drollinger and children chil-dren of Salt Lake visited her folks, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Shipley over Easter. Rachel and John Wright were Hinckley visitors Sunday. At the home of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Finlinson were Trudy, Cor-deyy Cor-deyy and Gloria Finlinson, Dale, Steven and Daryl Anderson and their friend Carl of Sunset. Lloyd and Ann Cooper and five children and two grandchildren of Salt Lake. They all returned to their homes on Sunday afternoon. Ardean Anderson gave a talk for a Woman's Club Friday evening at Nephl and gave them a report of his trip to Chile. Martha Anderson visited a day last week in Orem with her sister, Caroline and Vincent of Oregon and their family.
