Show TyHHDYL ifAMMTON NEWS LAURA BRADFIELD Mr. and Mrs. Louis Ovorson went with the Senior Citizens to Salt j Lake to the Fair. Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Wilkins went to Richfield Saturday and visited with their daughter, Enla Baird and family. Keith and Camille Nielson spent last Thursday in Fountain Green visiting Camille's father, Odvin Rosquist. Mary Johnson is vacationing In Thousand Oaks, Calilf. with her daughter, Cloreen Greatwood and family. Charles Kowallis of Logan visited at the Lawrence Bradfield home last Tuesday night. LaWrene went back to Logan with him last Wednesday Wed-nesday where she will attend school. Margie Greathouse is visiting in Southern Calif, with her daughters, Linda, Denice and Emma Jean. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Nielson visited visit-ed Sunday at the West Millard Hospital with their aunts, Josephine Jose-phine Stevens of Holden and Millie Lovell and other friends. Last Saturday Lawrence and I and Laura Ann and Margaret Bradfield and Mable Gray of Leamington Leam-ington went up north. We left Mother Bradfield in Bountiful with Dons' family while we went to take LaWrene's school clothing and etc. It was just beautiful in Logan Canyon this time of the year. The mountains are to colorful. We met LaWrene's five roommates. On our way home we stopped at the Inter-mountain Inter-mountain School in Brigham City and Laura Ann visited with her sister, Anna Mae Begay. It is a great experience to go there and see those 2000 Indian students strolling around campus. There was a dance that night and it looked like everyone was dressed up for the occasion. He left for Fort Leonardwood, Missouri to start his training In the Army. His wife, Jo and baby son will stay with her parents in Hinckley. Students home from college this week were Judy and Butch Mills, Phillis Nielson, Greg Greathouse and Kay Nielson. They all seem to think they are really going to enjoy college life this year. I hope they do. It's just the best there is. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Eatough and girls went to Nephi Sunday to church and to see their granddaughter granddau-ghter named. She was given the name of Claudia Ann. She is the daughter of Dan and Shauna Mem-mott. Mem-mott. Renae Simpson of Salt Lake spent the weekend at the home of Kay Nielson. Renae is going to school in Logan. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Erickson of Salt Lake spent Monday night with Ben and iLorraine Stephenson Mrs. Erickson is Ben's sister. The program in Sacrament meeting meet-ing Sunday night was given by Dan and Shirley Sheriff Roberts of Stockton. Shirley and Dan talked and Dan sang a solo accompanied by Patsy Nielson on the piano. Visitors were their daughter Danna also Mr. and Mrs. Guy Sheriff and Ms. Beckwith of Nephi. Louise Lovell took a car load of girls to Richfield to the game Friday. Fri-day. On her way home she visited in Salina and Scipio with her sisters. sis-ters. Mr. and Mrs. Phil Lovell and son and Sylvan Lovell were home from Logan over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Will Lovell and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lowry of Tooele visited Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Bud McCann. Dena Harder left Sunday for Salt 8 t' i Lake where she will continue her her studies at the U of U. Relief Society Opening Social was held Tuesday In the Lynndyl Ward. Roger LaRue and Doulgas Nielson Niel-son are football players on the Little League Football team. HOPER FAMILY REUNION 75 descendents of Charlie and Ann Jane Dutson Roper met Saturday, Sat-urday, September 20, at the GRA Park in Provo for a day of fun and frolic with lots of visiting. The five original brothers and sisiters were there, M. and Ms. Ed-wn Ed-wn (Lydia) Smith of Beaver with the following children, the families of Charlie and LaRue Cornell and Iris, Glen and Ileen Stroud of Salt Lake, a granddaughter, Susan Smith of Mesa, Ari Leland Roper and family of Oak City, Lee of Delta, Ed and Theo Stuart of Oak City, the Bill and Nada Simpson family of Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Martin (Effie) Sheriff Sher-iff of Provo, their families, Ed and Nadine Nolton of Midvale, Cleon and Lois of Sandy, Don (Mignon) Griffiths of Salt Lake and Larry and Sally of Orem Mr. and Mrs. Murlin Roper and Dan, Vona and family of Roosevelt. Mrs Nel Wilkey, Dan, Renee and family of Granger and the Ladd Wilkeys of Provo. A very enjoyable day was had by all. Sutherland DORA ROSE Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Mortensen for their new little daughter who came to them on Sept. 7th. Another grandchild for the Milo Mortensens and the first child for Kenneth. Mr. and Mrs. Owen Benson received re-ceived word from Gloria that they have another little baby. Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Penrod were visitors of their sister the Heber Roses last week also with their other sister, Mrs, Frances Bohn of Delta. Elder Paul DeLapp gave his mission mis-sion report Sunday. Out of town visitors were his grandfather, Mr. Harris, his aunt, Mrs. Marion Wool-sey Wool-sey and children and Mrs. Ruth Coates, his uncles and families. I Mrs. Coates lives in Salt Lake and is the acting County Demonstrator for Salt Lake County. She visited with her mother, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jensen and left Monday morning. She will also take in gen-eal gen-eal confeence. Evan Jensen and Alan's father-in -law came up from Phoenix, Ariz, with a truck and moved Mr. and Mrs. Alan Jensen and family back to Phoenix Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Oliver, Larry and Roxie Losee made a trip to Salt Lake with Chisten and family to meet the plane. Capt. Carl Oli-veriimg Oli-veriimg returned from Vietnam. What a happy reunion for them. Then the next day they met Elder Paul Losee coming from his Eng- Mr and Mrs. Charles Jensen Mr. and Mrs. Homer Christensen and children spent last weekend with their mother, Mrs. Concha Adams and other members of the Adams family. They are living in Tooele and Homer is working with insurance. Lloyd and Dorothly DeLapp were here over the weekend from Cedar where both are attending school. Paul left for Logan where he is attending school. Mr. and Mrs. J. Grant Moody were visitors of their folks, Mr. and Mrs Ferron Lovell and Bishop and Mrs Thurmon Moody feiid family. fam-ily. Connie is resuming her nurses training at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake and J. Grant is going to the University. Mr. and Mrs. Michael Thomas have moved back for Michael to resume his studies to become a dentist Patriarch Eugene Gardner was here for the report of Elder DeLapp Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jensen were here also. Mrs. Mildred Rector of Calif, came to visit with her mother, Mrs. John Wind. & sfiflED extra-wide land mission. Two happy reunions. The Jolly Stitchers met with Henrietta Barben, Norma Melnhardt and Marie Barben with 15 members prosent. A lovely story of the first ore haulers of Millard county was given by LaVell Johnson and was enjoyed by all present. A lovely lunch was served. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Meinhardt visited the State Fair and took in the "Holiday on Ice", then made a lovely tip to Yellowstone Park. They had a wonderful time. Pvt. Walter Weeda has been sent to Korea. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Weeda. We wish him success in his service to his country coun-try Frelen Shurtz took the program into the Extented Care Sunday afternoon. Sunday night the program was given by the bishopric, Elden Shurtz presiding. A surprise program pro-gram was given, Frelen Shurtz, Venice Davis and Kathy Boothe gave talks. It was a small crowd attending as the large percentage attended Elder Paul Losee's mission mis-sion report in Delta.
