She went up with Dorothy Dor-othy Wood of Minersville. Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Nielson visited with their daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Neil (Janet) Larsen in Carson City, Nev. They brought their granddaughter, Ginger, back with them. Kenneth Lovell of Salt Lake visited vis-ited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jer-old Jer-old Lovell over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Austin Willden and Byron Willden of Salt Lake, Mr. and Mrs. Will Lovell of Tooele visited vis-ited Mr. and Mrs. Bud McCann and mother, Millie Lovell, over the past weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Burnis Finlinson of Oak City visited their parents Mr. and Mrs. Oxel Johnson, Sunday. Lorna Mclntyre and girls were in Salt Lake last week. Mr. and Mrs. John Edminston of Chula Vista, Calif, visited with sister, Wanda Nielson and family, for a week. While coming in just west of Delta they tried to drive over a mound back of a road grader grad-er and hit a large rock and tore the bottom of their camper out. It took a week to get parts for it. Mr. and Mrs. LaForge Lovell and family, Deaun McCann, and Mrs. Elaine Johnson and children went to Salt Lake to the MIA Dance Festival Mayna Lovell and Mary-lin Mary-lin Johnson participated in some of the dances. Visiting at the home of Wells Nielson, Sunday, was his daughter Myrdith and husband, Sid Searl.?. Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Dutson went to Salt Lake, Sunday. They stayed in Granger with their son, Ell-wood Ell-wood and family. Monday, they spent the day with Eva's sister, Erma and husband Kirt Tucker, doing work in the Temple. Delta and Fenton Gunn of Los Angeles visited in Lynndyl Sunday The program in Sacrament Meet ing, Sunday night, was given by Paul and Ralph Moody of Delta. Kim and Mary Nielson (Jack and Andrea's children) sang a song. Mr. and Mrs. Les Walker of Sait Lake visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Greathouse. Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Dutson and children and Ron Holdaway went to Mapleton, Saturday, and picked cherries. Loraine Stephenson and son, Steve, spent a day last week in Nephi on business. Kay Nelson Ferguson and baby daughter are visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Nelson. Last Friday, LaForge Lovell, who teaches summer school in Delta, and also drives the car that the Lynndyl and Leamington students ride in, had a near tragedy when he arrived in Delta. The 3 little girls, Lina Hutchins. Jeanine and Marsha Dutson, who were riding in the back seat, were unconcious. They had been gassed by fumes coming from a broken exhaust. The girls were rushed to the WM 'Hospital where they were revived by oxygen. Now Mr. Lovell is driv-ing driv-ing a new bus. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Greathouse and grandchildren, Carrie and Gary Walker, spent a day last week in Salt Lake on business. They also went to Liberty Park and Hoegle Zoo. I Last Friday, Mr. and Mrs. How-ard How-ard Nielson and Mr. and Mrs. La Clead Nielson went to the Salt Lake Temple with their son and grandson, Jim and his bride, Rose Marie. A reception was held that evening for the newlyweds in A-merican A-merican Fork. Saturday night, July 5, a reception for them will be held in the Lynndyl Cultural Hall. Mr. and Mrs. Roy (Cloreen) Greatwood and children of Calif, and Mr. and Mrs. Bunell Talbot and children of Salt Lake, have been here with their mother, Mary Johnson, this past week. They came for their brother Ross' wedding. wed-ding. They went to the Manti Temple, Friday, June 27j where Ross and Alison Moody were married. mar-ried. Saturday evening, a reception recep-tion was held in the Deseret Stake House, Delta, for the newlyweds. Many guests attended. They had been on a trip through the parks. Less Summers of Pioche, Nev., (husband of Christy Dutson) is in the Holy Cross Hospital in Salt Lake for surgery. Mr. and Mrs. Dee Nielson and children of Salt Lake and parents, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Nielson, are vacationing va-cationing in the canyons and parks in Southern Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Nielson are moving to Denver, Colo., where Wendell has work with the Shell Oil Company. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Eatough and girls spent Sunday in Salt Lake, visiting relatives. Kent Overson of Kearns is staying stay-ing with his aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Nielson, this summer, sum-mer, and helping on the farm. Mr. and Mrs. Alma Banks from Manti were in town, Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Poughe from Tooele spent Sunday at the home of ., Mr. and Mrs. Nathan LaRue. Bob and Marylin Nielson and Eleanor Nielson took Renae, Glen and Glen's friend back to Ogden, Sunday, to school. The town is all connected up with the new water system. It seems so good to have plenty of water. They have installed five fire hydrants throughout town. The new line will certainly be a benefit ben-efit to everyone. The town was saddened and shocked to hear of the death of Keith Overson, 24, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Overson. Keith died June 28 in a Salt Lake hospital. He was such an outstanding young man. He had filled an LDS mission and was a Senior at BYU. Once -gain we find ourselves asking this question "Why do things like this happen?" Our sympathy goes out to his parents and brothers and sisters. The program in Sacrament Meeting, Meet-ing, Sunday evening was given by the Fillmore First Ward Choir, with Pres. ABRAHAM It's hard for me to write this news letter today (Sun.,. June 29). My dear friend, Reva Bliss died early Wednesday a.m. It's hard for me to express just how we all feel. We all shall miss her greatly The funeral services were planned plan-ned and written down by Reva. The speaker, Arthur Reeve, was a dear old friend in Hinckley where she was reared and lived until she married and came to Abraham. Abra-ham. All of our family came down to the services except Ladd, who lives in Crested Butte, Colo. They all loved her. I think Clark's brothers were all at the services and his only sister sis-ter from Calif. And an old and dear friend, Que Terry (the late Myrl Robison ferry's husband) and Sebrina Robison of Salt Lake and many, many others. Mr. Sherman Tolbert had the misfortune Saturday of being kicked kick-ed by a horse while searching for the lost man on the desert below Clear Lake.
