Black left Friday for Calif, where they will spend the next ten days on a pleasure plea-sure and business trip. Miss Carolyn Christensen of Tooele Too-ele visited Friday and Saturday with her mother, Mrs. Edna Christensen Chris-tensen and her sister, Beverly Ella-son Ella-son and family. Melvin Warner and two daughters, daugh-ters, Annette and Janet of Ogden spent the weekend visiting his mother, Fern Warner. I Mr. and Mrs. Milden Scow, Dar-Irel Dar-Irel Scow, J. H. Dewsnup went to Salt Lake Friday. Milden had an appointment with his doctor. Miss Marilyn Mace of Ogden was home with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Mace for the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Nels Black of American Amer-ican Fork and Mrs. Lillis Larson of Salt Lake visited Thursday anil Friday with Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Black. Mr. James Ross, who is attending attend-ing school at CSU at Cedar, spent the weekend with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Laurence Bennett. Deseret Garden Club met on Friday evening at the home of Ber- ' trice Erickson. Luncheon was ser ved and then Mrs. Pearl Snow of Delta showed slides and told about her mission in New Zealand. There was a large number of members i and guests present. Hostesses were Bertrice Erickson and Lou Larsen. "Get Well Wishes" this week are sent to Mr. Bert Hales and Mrs. Myrle Bennett who are both in the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake follow ing surgery. We wish them a speedy recovery. I Mr. and Mrs. J. M. David Hobison and son, Scott came over end did some carpenter work for his sister, Ireta and Elden Shurtz last week. Dick Clark is home from the hospital hos-pital and doing better. We wish him a speedy recovery. Lop Bootlie is also home from the hospital and doing better. We wish him also a speedy recovery. Venice Davis had a quilt on Wednesday. Fern Fonle, Mao Wind, Ruth Losee, Gerry Hill, Helen Her-sloff Her-sloff and Thirza Webb all came and helped her with it. There Is noihing like a "quilting" to cheer one up. Veila Jenson entered the Holy Cross Hospital Inst week for an ear operation. We hope she will soon be out and home again and hope the operation vill be successful. Sunday night the program was given bv Perry Tippetts and his family. Talks were given by Beatrice, Bea-trice, his wife, and Perry, a trio by Perry, his daughter, Terri Ann and son, Nick, accompanied by Marcia Talbot, then a song by Nick. Every one present enpoyed the meeting and invite them to come again. Wo wish to thank Harry Mein-hardt. Mein-hardt. Art Hill and Bob Meinhardt for n very good job on the roof of Voodrovv Hall.
