During the first months of operation opera-tion of the West Millard Cooperative Coopera-tive Association at Delta, members called the home of Orin F. Allred, You Are Always Welcome at the DELTA COMMUNITY CHURCH WORSHIP SERVICE AND SUNDAY SCHOOL EVERY SUNDAY Telephone 834-2255 or 86b-3475 who is still their manager, to order their gasoline and diesel fuel. This was the beginning of a farmer-owned farmer-owned supply business that had total sales in 1967 of nearly $300, 000-a 19 increase over 1966. It is expected that sales will increase another 15 during 1968. An accelerated rate of growth is taking place at the West Millard Co-op because Manager Orin All-red All-red and his employees are selling more than farmer merchandise. They are selling higher crop yields-more yields-more efficient farm operations-protection for farm machinery and equipment-protection from insects and weeds. These are some of the reasons why all co-ops across the state are adding important new farm services ser-vices and are increasing sales so rapidly. Farmers' utilization of the farm business which they own is becoming be-coming more and more an important impor-tant tool in the hands of farmers for increasing net farm 'ncome.
