Show Second Ward Hews EDDYS BARBEN Pres. and Mrs. June Black spent Easter weekend with their children in Provo at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Robison and family. Mr. and Mrs. Ladd Black and family fam-ily of North Ogden joined them at Provo to celebrate. They all, also visited at the Provo Hospital with Donna, 13, and Shawnee, 12, daughters dau-ghters of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Robison who were bcth operated on at the hospital and are doing real good now. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Barben and Wendy of Lyman, Wyo. visited their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Barben over the weekend. Then, they all went to Peddersons Warm Springs, near Glendale, Nev. and on to Las Vegas. At the Warm Springs they visited with Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Bennett of Deseret and Mr. and Mrs. LaMont S. Bennett Ben-nett and family of Richfield. They all returned home Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Kay Mclff of Salt Lake were visitors with their par ents and family, Bp. and Mrs. Wil-lard Wil-lard Stephenson. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Church of Cedar were Delta visitors over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Adams and daughters, Carol, Gloria and Joan were visitors at Salt Lake Saturday and attended the 78th birthday celebration of Verdella's mother, Mrs. Elvira D. Sheldon. 30 members of the family were In attendance. Miss Anita McCall visited her mother over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Don Beck of Black-foot, Black-foot, Ida. and five children were visitors at the 2nd Ward Sunday. They are living in the house where the Albert Kimber family formerly lived. Miss Judy Bassett was a weekend week-end visitor with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. S. Bassett spent Saturday in Nephi with their daughter, Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Lar-sen Lar-sen and family. Mr. and Mrs. David Judd and two children Paul and Julie, of Bountiful, Bounti-ful, spent the weekend with their mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Judd. Mrs. Marion Gudmunson and two children, Stacy and Gary, of Provo visited for three days with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Killpack, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Brackeibury (Judy Petty) of Riverside, Calif, and two children, Mike and Leslis, visited with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Killpack Sunday. Mr. Jack Killpack of Reno is visiting vis-iting for about two weeks with Marion Killpack, his brother, and his sister, Mrs. Inga Dennison and other relatives and friends. They visited in Fresno, Calif, with their daughter, Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Findley and saw their new grandson for the first time. He was born in Oct. Then on to Livermore, Calif, to visit Mr. and Mrs. Keith Mortensen and five children. To San Francisco where they visited Bill's two sisters Mr. and Mrs. Dee Smith and Josephine Jose-phine Maphee and their families. Visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald O. Billings over Easter weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Terrah Billings of Murray and a grandson Blaine Bilings, son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Biilings of Ogden and Blaine's three school mates of Ogden, Og-den, Lee Groberg, Rand Mancell, and Leonard Dalb. Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton McCul-lough McCul-lough and Mr. and Mrs. Dave (Elsie) Thomas went to Blackfoot, Idaho, April 10th where they visited visit-ed Mr. and Mrs. Tony (Joyce) Ivins and family. They all went to the atomic site near Arko, Idaho, on to the Crater of the Moon, near Sun Valley, over to American Falls and returned home Sunday night. April 11th Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Perkins had a call to come to the Deita Airport. Sherm's brother, Bill Perkins and his two sons, Art and Sherl, were on a cross country flight from Spokane, Wash. Art is the pilot. They visited for an hour or so then flew on to complete their tour. Dean Perkins and girl friend, Miss Marlue Bushman visited with Mr. and Mrs. Sherm Perkins over the weekend. Paul Pace and fiancee, Judy Grange, visited Mr. and Mrs. Elwin Pace and family. The Delta 3rd Ward Relief Society Soci-ety had an outstanding fashion show and a lovely luncheon last Tuesday. Many beautiful fashions were shown from formals to play togs. All taking part should be complimented for the fine job. Mr. Al Willden left Monday for Battle Mt., Nev. on business. Miss Sharida Allen was home with her mother and brother for Easter. The three spent Saturday in Provo where they attended a show and had dinner. Sharida re turned back to school in Cedar. Carl Willden, Neil Callister, Zane Bennett were nil home over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. M. W. Marshall and children of Tooele spent Easter with Mrs. Zola Lanibright and Jerry Marshall. Mr, and Mrs, Ned Sperry of Nephl spent Easter with Mrs. Guld-yse Guld-yse Taylor and family. Visiting Mrs. Eva Wiikins last week was her son, Tim Wiikins of Phoenix, Ariz. Mr. and Mrs. Jim (Leslie Welton) Lockhart are the parents of a new baby boy born Apr. 12. Proud grand parents are Mr. and Mrs. Les Welton Wel-ton of Delta. Mrs. Hattie Harris is home after spending the winter months in Nev. and Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Vest visited with Mrs. Harris for Easter. They also visited with Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Holman while they were here. Mr. and Mrs. Bordell Memmott and family went to Sait Lake Sunday Sun-day and visited with his mother, Mrs. Lily Memmott. Mr. and Mrs. Duane Stanworth had their family home Sunday, Mr andd Mrs. Dave Stanworth, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Pearson, Mr. nnd Mrs. Max Stanworth. Ethel A. Stanworth and Ethel M. Stanworth enjoyed a day in the Mant i Temple. At the Earl Stanworth home was Millard County Chronicle Thursday, April 18, 1868 Dorothy Natoni, the Indian girl who lived with them a few years ago. Earl and Irene went to Logan and brought her down. They took her home Sunday. Roger and Marie and daughter of Spanish Fork and Tim and Gwen Anderson and daughter dau-ghter of Green River were also at the Stanworth home. Mr. end Mrs. Eric Gillen and Mr. and Mrs. John Dastrup spent Easter with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Deon Gillen. Cassie Johnson observed her birthday in Salt Lake with a dinner party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Golden Warnick. Dinner guests included in-cluded Goiden's and Delores' children child-ren and Jack and Ester Johnson. Mr. and Mrs. Kelly Hawley and Eathel Skeem were in Salt Lake. Ella Christensen spent last week in Salt Lake with her sister and daughter and family. Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Riding and Inez Kelly went to Las Vegas to visit and to do some fishing. Oscar returned home with them. Ella Christensen had a birthday dinner for Norvel. lone and Jim Christensen and family and Fanny Lee Hilton spnt the eevenlng with them. Mark Skeem reported his mission Sunday evening. A very large crowd attended. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Peterson and baby of Grantsville were home to visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Peterson. Ronald Is teaching school in Grantsville. Dale McCormick has been promoted pro-moted to the rank of Captain In the U. S. Air Force. He has been In Vietnam. Delene and I visited Mr. and Mrs. Stan Bradfield of Midvale over the weekend. Stan is Improving and looks well after his ihness. Erma Skeem, Vernessa Skeem and Vereda Stanworth enjoyed a few days in Salt Lake last week.
