Show (Mr. and Mis. Earl Talbot and family were down from Midvale, over the weekend, with Mr. and Mrs. John Talbot. They visited in Fillmore with Mrs. Talbot's parents, par-ents, also. j Monday, after Primary, the Blue- bird class held a class party. All r the girls' mothers were present and the piesidency cJ the Primary. The girls received an award they had earned from their teacher, Mrs. Ruth Nielson. Cookies and punch were served and all present enjoyed en-joyed the party. Class members are Patsy Nielson, Ila Mae Overson, Cynthia Vest and Paula Simpson. Mrs. Nena Wilkins went to Salt Lake Tuesday and visited until Friday, with her sister and, also, Ray and Mary, who came down and visited here over the weekend. Enla returned to the city with them. Mr. and Mrs. Irving Nielson and Karen, drove to Provo for the week- end. Friday evening, Mrs. Nielson , and Karen attended a bridal show er, given in honor of Miss Eva Lue Burrows, who will wed Gary, son of Mr. and Mrs. Irving Nielson in March- , , ' Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wiley and family visited here Friday, with Mrs. Sarah Ann Wiley and Lanny,. from Springville. They brought word that Bill Kinrose, who had been released from the hospital 10 days ago and had been staying with daughter, Helen, in Orem, was now back in the hospital for more help. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Nielson drove to Springville and Provo for the day, Saturday. The Explorers of the ward, with their leaders, Ralph Overson and Eddie Dutson; went to .Springville and Provo 'for an afternoon of fun, swimming, roller skating and some bowling. Saturday evening, the younger fathers of the town, went over to Leamington, and played ball with the men. Their score was a little short, but they seemed to enjoy the game as well as the ones who sit on the sidelines. Mrs.'Hettie Johnson visited Wednesday Wed-nesday to Saturday with daughters, daugh-ters, Mary and Mina. Thursday, the three visited in Oak City with aunts, Mary and Frankie Finlin-son Finlin-son and Mrs. Twiss Nielson. Mrs. Josephine Jos-ephine Sudbury was unable to come down with them. We hope she will soon be feeling better. Dte Nielson arrived home from Artesia, New Mexico, Friday, after a three week's visit there with Mr. and Mrs. Kent Nielson and family Sunday visitors down from Salt lake were Mr. and Mrs. Chet Bales, and Mr. and Mrs. Max Woolsey. They spent the day with Mrs. Margie Mar-gie Greathouse, Russell, John and Craig. Mrs. Bales is a sister to Margie Mar-gie and Max is a nephew. She was very happy to have them for the day. High Councilman, Ted Bennett, was here with the program Sunday Sun-day evening in church. He gave a very fine talk. He had with him, LaVar Owens and daughter, Gen-iel, Gen-iel, who furnished the music. Mr. Owens sang a solo, accompanied by Miss Annalee Johnson. Miss Ow-! ens played a violin solo, then she and her father played a duet with Annalee as their accompanist. Bennett, who has been working with the National Park Service in planning for recreation at Glen Canyon, points out some of the spots on the lake at which recreational facilities have been definitely scheduled. Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Cahoon were in Salt Lake Sunday, to bid farewell fare-well to their brother, Bill Alldredge, who left for a mission that day. Saturday, Howard Roundy moved Mr. and Mrs. Delong Stewart to Roy, Utah. Delong has work at Brigham City. Sure sorry to have them leave this small ward, but wish them all the luck in their new adventure. Margurite Stanworth accompanied ac-companied the Stewarts and will get employment at Brigham City. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Cahoon spent several days in Salt Lake last week. The ward play went to Sutherland Suther-land Friday night. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Spencer from Cedar City, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Ed Christensen Sunday. We also had a nice visit with the Spencers. Spen-cers. Colleen Gillen was in Oak City over the weekend, visiting Connie Jacobson. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Willoughby have moved into the house on the Harold Skeem property. Visitors at the Martin Ludwig home were Mr. and Mrs. Kent Strate, and Dennis Haws. They came from Spring City. Four Primary children went to the Manti Temple Saturday. Mrs. Ellen Anderson and family were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Val Styler. They returned to their home in Ephraim, Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Clark Bishop spent Wednesday at the Manti Temple. LaVeda visited in Salt Lake last week with her mother. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Skeem attended a birthday party in Benjamin for Mrs. Skeem's sister, Nelda Jenkins. Mrs. Anna Billings and Ray Western, West-ern, from Delta, attended Sunday School. They represented the stake Sunday School. Vivian Kelly has been visiting h'.s sister Biah, and brother, Peck Kelly Kel-ly and their families. The program In Sacrament meeting meet-ing Sunday night, was put on by Arthur Jensen and family. Zelmo Jensen gave a retold Easter Story Two piano duets were played bj Zelma and Korean Reeve. Rex Jensen Jen-sen gave a very fine talk. The last remarks were by Arthur Jensen. We were very fortunate in having hav-ing Sutherland bring their ward play to us Monday night. It was very well presented and they are to be complimented on their very fine performance. We wish to express ex-press thanks to our neighboring ward for their attendance. Tuesday night, Oasis took their play to Leamington. ? Mr. Reed Lovell went to Salt Lake Friday, for a medical check. Mr. and Mrs. Willard Christensen Christen-sen had their son, Richard and family from Salt Lake and their daughter, Roma Henrie and family, fam-ily, from Panguitch, to spend Saturday Sat-urday and Sunday in Oak City, especially es-pecially to help celebrate their father's birthday. The Grant Finlinson family were together for Grant's birthday celebration cele-bration Saturday and Sunday. Sandra San-dra and Kent Dewsnup and David, from Provo, and Janet from Salt Lake. Wednesday, Mr. and Mrs. Orin Allred took their mother, Mrs. Alta Alldredge and their sister, Mar garet, to Salt Lake, to be with Elder Bill Alldredge when he was set apart for his mission. Sunday, she went again with Eldon and Johannah Cahoon to see him de part for his mission in Northern California. Mr. and Mrs. John LeFevre and children, spent the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elden Anderson. Their home is at Tropic, Utah. Mr. and Mrs.-Alden Nielson and children visited from Milford.
