Show IE JL nckley MM They say "there is nothing new under the sun," but there certainly is something different. I have .never seen a big electric shower before a snow storm in November, like we had Friday night. Everyone in town ' thought the lightening hit closest to their home. It blew out lights, rang telephones, rattled the walls and windows until you were sure they would fall in. Marion Mannwe'.l was coming from Delta when he saw a ball of fire hit the ground south of Homer Petersen's home, a.nd lit up the field. It was all very frightening. We needed the storm but not the cold weather weath-er it brought. It caught us without the antifreeze in our blood and its hard to take the cold. We are wondering how the elk hunters are doing. Hon Cropper, Jim ChrLstensen, Howard Round;, Lowell and Nels Petersen, Reed Ciafts and Jim Petersen all left Friday for the Fish Lake Reserve. When they loft I thought, Oh hew much fun it would be to be goinir, but later in the day, how wonderful was the warmth of our home, to keep out the cold winds and storm. We want to congratulate Dar-:ene Dar-:ene and Roger Bliss who were amrried Saturday and hope their life won't be stormy like their wedding wed-ding day. Their reception was lovely lov-ely and most of the town people attended.
