Hinckley Relief Society's annual day party was held Monday night. Supper was served at 6:30 after which a program was enjoyed, followed by the picture show, "All That Heaven Allows." It was well attended, and appreciated by a large percentage of the towns people. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hepworth arrived home Saturday from San Diego, Calif., where Harold is in the Navy. He has a 30-day leave, then will return to the base at Alameda, Calif., from where he expec's to tie sent overseas. Anna Lee will remain here. Bishop Reception The largost wedding to be held n Alemo, Nevada, was the reception recep-tion for Mr. and Mrs. Clare Bishop. They were married in the St. Geo-ge Geo-ge Temple Friday and the recep-ion recep-ion was held Saturday evening. For the event the bride was lovely in a floor-length gown of satin and Chantilly lace. A cap of seed pearls held her fingertip veil. She carried a bouquet of orchids and white Carnations. Members of Clare's family who attended the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Jay Bishop of Fontana, Calif., Louise Carling of Salt Lake, Janeth Bishop of Snow College, Mr. and Mrs. Knott of Layton, Mr. and Mrs. Lars Bishop of Payson, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Miller of Manti, Mr. and Mrs. L. R. and Mr. and Mrs. R. P. Swensen, Mr. and Mrs. Milo Bishop, Mr. and Mrs. Neil Swensen all of Hinckley and Mr. and Mrs. Melvin West who flew up from San Diego, Calif., and took Mr. and Mrs. Heber Bishop back with them They will stay there for a short time to let Heber, convalesce In California sunshine. Mrs. Alice Walker of Blooming-ton, Blooming-ton, Cal., had eye surgery last week and went home from the hospital the first of the week.
