CHECK SOCIAL SECURITY ACCOUNTS It is good business to check your social security account at least every three or four years, Mr. Kesler T. Powell, manager of the Provo social security district office, reminds all persons covered cov-ered by the social security law. By checking your account, you can be sure that all your earnings that count toward old-age and survivors insurance were reported and credited correctly. If you find that all wages or self-employ-ment income that can be credited has not been credited, you should then notify the social security district dis-trict office and the necessary action ac-tion will be taken to correct your account. Since all survivors and retirement retire-ment benefits are based on your covered earnings, it is important that all wages and self-employment income are correctly credited cred-ited through the years. Mr. Powell pointed out, however, how-ever, that the earnings statements "or the year 1955 are not available avail-able at this time since the posting if wages is not completed until six or nine months after the wages were paid. Therefore, a record re-cord of wages paid through the last week in December 1955 will not be available before July 1956. Mr. Powell stated that the local lo-cal social security office located at 159 W. 5th North in Provo, Utah has available a postcard form for those who wish to obtain a record of past earnings credited to their social security accounts.
