Mr. and Mrs. Lee Lindsay left last Wednesday for their home In Phoenix, Arizona, after a two week's visit at the home of their daughter, Mrs. Keith Galley. Mr. and Mrs. Chet Wadsworth and family of Blackfoot, Idaho, visited a f tw days last week at the Stanfold Shelley home. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Brad-shaw Brad-shaw visited with friends and relatives here during conference time. Having spent the winter In Arizona, they are enroute to their home li Canada. Mrs. Ellen B. Cheney, Miss Eva Stoker, Miss Rogers, and Elder Keith Cheney, San Diego, Cal., visited Friday evening with Mrs. Minnie Harris. They were on their way to attend conference in Salt Lake City. - Elder Cheney recently returned from the Eastern East-ern States mission where he had as companion just before his release re-lease Eider Donald M. Jones, Lehi. Jay Kigsinsen, who is attending attend-ing the Agricultural College In Logan, spent the week end at his home here, visiting with his mother, Mrs. Waldemar Jensen. Miss Emma Clover, RN, at the General Hospital In Salt Lake City, Is spending her vacation at her home in Lehi. Mr, and Mrs. A. W. Magelby and son, Las Vegas, Nevada, were conference visitors at the Charles Crabb home. Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Gale and family were Sunday visitors at the heme of Mrs. Gale's mother, Mrs. Waldermar Jensen. 11 Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Webb and family returned to their home in Mesa. Arizona, Saturday, after visiting with relatives here. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Holda way and their two daughters of Salt Lake City, visited here Sun day at the home of Mr. Holda-wav'3 Holda-wav'3 sister, Mrs. Florence Jen sen. Mrs. Joseph Wanlass of Mon roe, Is a conference visitor at the home of a sister, Mrs. Charles Crabb. She will spend a week here. Mr. and Mrs. Vasco Huffaker of Salt Lake City, visited here ; last Wednesday at the Waldemar Jensen home. Mr. and Mrs. Vern Richens, Draper, were visitors at the Forrest For-rest Littleford home, Friday. Mrs. James P. Christiansen and Mrs. Mathea Peterson spent an enjoyable time in Sandy, Sunday, Sun-day, where they visited with a brother to Mrs. Christiansen, John Bolliger and family, and with a nephew of Mrs. Peterson. They also called on Mrs. Molly Green and Mrs. Ivy Bolliger in Butler. Webb spent Wednesday in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Crabb and Mrs. Joseph Wanlass, who is visiting from Monroe, spent Saturday and Sunday in Salt Lake City, with au enjoyable overnight stay at the Grrin Win- get home. Mr. and Mrs. Arvil Stone attended at-tended the wedding reception given for Mr. and Mrs. Allen Jensen In Provo, Saturday, at the Federation Hall in the Labor Temple. Mr. and Mrs. George Smith at tended conference in Salt Lake City, Sunday. Mrs. Smith remained re-mained until Wednesday with friends and relatives. Members of the county committee com-mittee of the Agricultural Con servation Program were in American Amer-ican Fork Tuesday accepting applications ap-plications for participation in the 1949 program. John B. Tnomas, vice chairman, ' Spanish Fork; Stan Douglas, Payson; and George Murray, a community committeeman from Mapleton, were present to receive the applications and assist the farmers in formulating their farming program. Forty local farmers called during dur-ing the day to sign applications for participation in the program. Local Committeeman E. Vern Holindrake was present to assist the committee. The county committee's prior approval is required for all prac tices in 1949, according to Mr. Thomas, 'This is made necessary neces-sary by specific allocations of funds for each county to provide payment for conservation work to be performed in the current year. , ,The committee plans to return In about two weeks in order to take care cf the wheat allotments allot-ments which must be out before June 1, and the support price program. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Crabb accompanied Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Magelby to Provo Tuesday. They visited with their son, Mark Magelby, BYU student, who returned re-turned with them for a visit here. Mr. and Mrs. Abel J. Ekins attended at-tended the wedding reception given In Prcvo, for Allen Jensen and his bride, who are relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Peterson Peter-son have returned to their home here, after spending the winter months In St. George doing temple tem-ple work. Sunday visitors at the Charles Turner home were Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Turner of Salt Lake City, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles McFar-lane McFar-lane of Riverton. Mr. and Mrs. Albert West of Draper, also called during the weekend. George Clover returned home Wednesday, after a long weekend week-end in Salt Lake City, with friends and relatives. A full display of Implements Im-plements and tractors, showing of films, entertainment, refreshments refresh-ments and door prizes will be features of the meeting. Representatives of the manufacturer manu-facturer will be on hand to dis cuss farming power and implement imple-ment problems, and to comment on expected future developments in the farm Implement field. Mr. Holley revealed that a complete line of Dearborn farm equipment such as weeders, cultivators, sprayers, dusters, post hole diggers, dig-gers, and Ford tractors will be exhibited and demonstrated at the meeting. T. J. Turner is sales manager in charge of the tractor and Implement Im-plement division of the Alpine Motor company and will assist in giving information to owners on the care of their equipment.
