Le anna had the misfortune of breaking a finger while playing ball on the school grounds and as if that weren't enough, down she came with a sore throat and "flu" which kept her in bed. She and her mother, Mrs. David Cahn, were following with interest inter-est the account in Salt Lake dailies of the "Antimony in Won derland". Leanna, a pretty miserable mis-erable little girl herself, was filled fill-ed with sympathy for Sanna Jane Black, whose untimely case of mumps kept her from making the trip to the "big city" with her sister, Anna Joan Black. Wondering just what a disap pointed girl would do to keep herself amused Leanna finally decided that "funny" books would help to while away the hors. So Mrs. Cahn packed up a bundle of the choicest and off the books went to the mumps- ridden child in Antimony. This week Leanna received the following letter from her grateful grate-ful unseen friend: Dear Miss Leanna Cahn: How are you now? I hape you get well. I am fine now. My mumps are almost better now. I got well cards and a whole lot of letters. I got two $1.00 bills and one of my school mates gave me 25c and a man sent me a little radio that I can take places with me. Today on the mail the candy company sent me a big box of suckers. My brother's wife and baby sent me a lot of things. What I liked best was the bicycle and radio they brought me home from Salt Lake City. It had everything a bike could have all but the basket. They put batteries bat-teries in the lights and fixed the horn on my bike. It is a light blue pretty blueand I got a card from all the school , chil dren. My twin sister and I look so much alike that no one can tell us apart. We are identical twins. We will send up a picture of us. Our birthday is November 17. We will be 11. I am very sorry that you broke your finger. Well good luck to you I hope. Thanks very much for the funny books. I just about rorgot to say thanks. Sincerely, your friend Sanna Jane Black.
