Show Tammy Mmmer vw marry Tammy Wimmer and Michael Miles have chosen to be married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on July 20. Tammy is the daughter of Linda Wimmer of Orem and the late Darrell Wimmer. Michael is the son of Robert Miles of Gilbert, Ariz, and the late Shaunna Miles. All family, friends and ward members are invited to share in the happiness of this occasion occa-sion at a garden reception that same evening from 6:30 to 8 at the Griffin residence, 4565 N. Vintage Drive, Provo. There Alexanders mark golden Bert and Janet Alexander are celebrating their 50th wedding wed-ding anniversary on Saturday, July 12. They will be honored at an open house on July 15 from 3 to 5 p.m .at the American Fork West Stake Center, 165 N. 350 West. Friends and family are invited to attend. They were married July 12, 1950 in American Fork. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Janet attended school in American Fork. She spent 16 years managing the fabric department at Christensen's Department Store. Bert attended school in Pleasant Grove. He retired from Hercules in Magna. He loves to build birdhouses for family and friends. They have four children: Vickie and Steve Bonar, Bowmans mark 50th anniversary Neldon and Shirley Kirk Bowman of American Fork will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married July 15, 1950. Their children will host an open house in their honor Sunday, July 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. at their home, 167 N. 300 East, American Fork. He lived in southern California most of his life until he returned to Utah in 1989 after the death of his wife, Florence, in 1988. He retired in 1963 from the Adelanto School District in Victorville, Calif, where he was employed as maintenance supervisor at the school at George Air Force Base. He and his wife, Florence, enjoyed traveling around the country in their trailer. They made friends all over the United States. He has always been an improvisor with a talent to fix just about anything. Kathreen was born in Twin Falls, Idaho, the daughter of Royal and Augusta Currie. When she was a young girl her family moved to Salt Lake City. She graduated from West High School. LeBaron served as an assistant assis-tant attorney general prior to his appointment as a judge. He then spent a year in Moab and Monticello presiding over delinquency, abuse, neglect and dependency matters. Of his experience he stated, "It was a challenging but rewarding task working with the children and youth." LeBaron has reopened his law office in the new Eagle Rock Office Park, 802 E.
