In the Relic Hall, Alpine, with Vice Captain Mrs. Charles Adams In charge. There were 13 members, mem-bers, four visitors and one county coun-ty member, Mrs. hry Wild, present A short business meeting was conducted and the book "Pioneer Heritage" presented to Mrs. Henry Llewelyn as a token of sympathy from the members In the recent death of her father. The history of John Miller was read by his great-great granddaughter, Mrs. O'Dell In gram, and the lesson "Utah Hakes" was presented by Mrs Melvin Devey. It was also reorganization day for the camp and the following officers were voted in: Jenny Wild, captain; Nellie Adams, first vice captain; Nina Llewelyn, second sec-ond vice captain; Alice Brown, secretary - treasurer; Alberta Bennett, historian ; I s a b e 1 1 e Heaps, custodian of relics; Inez Burgess, registrar; Maude Beck, chaplain. .Mrs. John Adams and Mrs. Fred Strong were hostesses for the day and they entertained with a lichfc luncheon. American Fork Camp I Mrs. Gladys Beck was hostess to members of the American Fork Camp at her home Thurs day afternoon for their November Novem-ber meeting. Assisting as co-hostesses co-hostesses were Mrs. Virgle War-nick War-nick and Mrs. Millie Laursen. Mrs. Emery Nicholes was In charge and one visitor, Mrs. Hilton, recording secretary of the county, was present. The lesson on "Utah Lakes" was given and also read was the history of Mrs. Beck's great-great great-great - grandmother. Refreshments Refresh-ments were served by the hostesses hos-tesses to twenty. Bee Hive Camp Members of the Bee Hive Camp met for their regular monthly meeting Thursday, November No-vember 13, at the home of Mrs. Nan Ferguson. Mrs. Ferguson was assisted by her daughter, Dorothy, Mrs. Electa Monson said Mrs. Beth Brown. Mrs. Vera Thompson presented the lesson and Mrs. Ferguson's history was given by Mrs. R. L. Ashby. Light refreshments were served serv-ed by the hostesses to 14. Adams Camp Mrs. Ella Chrlstensen and Mrs Irene Makin were hostesses at the November meeting of the Adams Camp held Thursday afternoon af-ternoon at Mrs. Christensen's home. Twenty-one members at tended. 1 Mrs. Chasty Harris presented the lesson, and the history of Marie Dorothy Anderson Rich ardson was given by her grand daughter, Mrs. Lydia Green. Clubs and Socials Beta Sigma Phi Mrs. Guy Ivlns was hostess to members of the Psl Chapter, Beta Sigma Phi, at her home Wednesday evening, November 12. The lesson on "Poise and Charm" was under the direction of Mrs. Ray Bone, who introduced intro-duced the guest speaker, Mrs. Emma Lou Potter of the Hengar Charm School, Salt Lake City. Mrs. Potter gave a very In teresting and informative talk. Attending besides the hostess and Mrs. Bone were Mrs. Max Schmidt, Mrs. Harvey Edwards, Mrs. Jay Larsen, Mrs. Wesley Peterson, Mrs. Wayne Winters, Mrs. Edgar Kolstad, Mrs. L. N. Lodwlck, Mrs. Keith Smith, Mrs. Robert Parker and Mrs. Leon Smith. Four-stake M Men Gleaner Social, Saturday j! Four-stake M Men land Glean er banquet and dance is scheduled sched-uled to be held Saturday evening, November 29. The affair will be In the Timpanogos Stake House, 4th East and 2nd South, Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove, beginning at 7:00 p.m. The evening will be themed to "Around the World" and each stake will furnish a part of the program. Stakes participating are Alpine, Al-pine, Lehi, Timpanogos .and Orem. Tickets may be obtained from any ward M Men or Gleaner Glean-er leader. Anyone wishing to attend should get their tickets by Monday. Rosetta P. Chipman Dies at 80 Years In Salt Lake Home Rosetta Poulson Chipman, 80, former American Fork resident, clied Thursday at 11:45 at her home, 253 East 8th South, Salt Lake City, of causes incident to age. She was born October 8, 1878, In Pleasant Grove, a daughter of Mauritz and Inger Madsen Poul son. On November 19, 1906, she married Walter F. Chipman. She was a member of the LDS Church. Active in Relief Society So-ciety and Temple work. Survivors Include her husband; son, Walter Paul Chipman, West Jordan; daughter, Mrs. Marvin Q. (Lorraine) Miller, Salt Lake City; brother, Albert Poulson, 'California; sister, Mrs. Octavia Bullock, Provo; nine grandchll dren; eleven great-grandchll dren. Funeral services were conduct ed Monday in Murray under the direction of Bishop Narvel Schurzinger. Taking part in the services were Ford Poulson and Mylan D. Radmall, both of Pleas ant Grove. Pallbearers were grandsons, Washburn Chipman, Taylor Chipman, Mathew Chip man. Marvin C. Miller, David Miller and Robert Beall. Interment was In the Elyslam Burial Gardens in Murray. Dr. Vernon Larson To Head Panel On Segregation Dr. Vernon Larson of Brigham Young University, will head a panel discussion on segregation at the annual Community Club Night, Monday, November 24. The affair will begin at 7:30 pjn. In the Forbes School. The evening is being sponsored sponsor-ed by the federated clubs of American Fork, under the direction direc-tion of the President's Council. A cordial invitation is extended to all Interested persons to attend. Federal Aid Funds Allocated for Utah's Game Dept. Federal aid funds totaling $388,812 have been apportioned to Utah for the state's fish -and game restoration program during dur-ing the year ending June 30, 1959. Derived from Federal excise taxes on sports equipment used in fishing and hunting, the monies mon-ies are apportioned to the various var-ious states each year on the basis of each state's land area and number of paid license holders hold-ers bears to the total in all the other states. Wildlife restoration monies allocated al-located to Utah this year are $319,330 and fishery monies total $69,482. The monies must be used by each state in qualified projects to restore and enhance the fish and game resources. Annual meetings of the Utah Wildlife Federation are scheduled schedul-ed to be held this week at Logan, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, November 21, 22 and 23. So stated Federation President Othel Pay of Nephi today as he announced a full program dealing deal-ing with outdoor resources for the three-day meet. Pay said many committee meetings will be conducted Friday Fri-day with general sessions set for Saturday and Sunday. He welcomed wel-comed anyone Interested in the outdoor resource fields to attend the general sessions which are programed to include talks and panel discussions by state and national leaders in these fields. All meetings will be held in the Union Building on the campus cam-pus of the Utah State University. Delegates are. expected to attend at-tend from local sportsmen clubs throughout the state.
