Timpanogos Temple on Sept. 28, 2007. A reception will honor the newlyweds that same evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Baird residence, 1204 W. 2100 N., Pleasant Grove. Attending the bride will be her sisters: Jamie, Katy, Lindsey and Cassie. Best man duties will be performed per-formed by Jesse Stephensen. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Pleasant Grove High School and UVSC. She is currently teaching 1st grade at Valley View Elementary. Elemen-tary. The prospective groom is a graduate of Juab High School. He works for Tahitian Noni and served a mission in Pennsylvania, Philadelphia Mission. Johnson of Lehi, UT will honor their parents 50th Wedding Anniversary with a family fam-ily dinner at Thanksgiving Gardens, Gar-dens, September 29, 2007. Howard and Elaine were married mar-ried in the Manti Temple on September Sep-tember 20, 1957. The proud parents of four children, chil-dren, Steven H (Diane) of American Ameri-can Fork, Bradley G. (Michelle) of Brigham City; Julie (Kim) Mansfield Mans-field of Lehi; Tricia (Mark) Austin of Eagle Mountain; 25 grandchildren grandchil-dren and 4 great-grandchildren. Howard grew up in Spanish Fork, Elaine in Birdseye. They have lived in Salt Lake, Page, Arizona, Ari-zona, Chicago, Germany and the last 30 years here in Lehi. Dosouoirg (fonto Beck, 80th Celebrates her 80th Birthday on Oct. 4th She was born in 1927 in Fairview, Ut. to John Frank Sanders Sand-ers & Venna Mae Christensen. She is the 2nd of 5 children. She married Max Beck of Alpine, June 17, 1955 in the Manti Temple. Maurine raised a family of 7, Lynda Halls, Joy Bates, Clista Pennie, Maxine Blackburn, Shir-lyn Shir-lyn Beck, Jeri Devitt, Darwin Beck. She has 22 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, and 1 on the way. She has served in many Church callings, a mission to Hawaii, and served in both the Jordan River & Mt. Timpanogos Temples. As a single mother since Max's death in 1980, she has been a wonderful example of personal sacrifice and perserverance. The loving, caring, and giving person she is has touched more lives than we will ever know. On Thurday, Oct. 4th from 5 to 8 p.m. will be an open house in her honor. He was born and raised in American Fork to Ernest Mitchell and Edna Mry-tle Mry-tle Moyle. 1 le was the youngest of 5; one brother Frank and three sisters, Faye, Helen and Grace. He married Diane Case on August Au-gust 21, 1952. Together they have six daughters, 2(i grandchildren, and 24 great grandchildren. He served in the Air Force where he flew mostly fighter planes like the i'51; and once the big bomber plane the B24. In order for him to go to college col-lege he worked summers at Mitchell's Farm earning .25c an hour and part-time during school in the cafeteria and library. After graduating from the Agricultural College in Logan, Utah he began his teaching career in Duchesne High School. Then married he moved to American Fork High School where he taught Industrial F.d. until his retirement in 1985. Summers Sum-mers were spent as a Ranger at Timpanogos Cave in the American Ameri-can Fork Canyon. He is still very active in his LDS Ward and is busy working in his yard and garden. He grows a beautiful garden and shares his harvest with family and neighbors.
