The Bruins boys and girls teams are coming off first-place first-place finishes at the BYU Autumn Au-tumn Classic at Cascade Golf Course in Orem. TENNIS A couple of Region 4 matchups are on tap on Tuesday, Tues-day, as Timpanogos goes to Spanish Fork and Mountain View plays host to American Fork. UVSC schedules baseball camp NORTH COUNTY The Utah Valley State College Col-lege baseball team is holding its inaugural fall camp beginning Thursday at Wolverine Baseball Stadium in Orem. High-school-age athletes will get the opportunity to play under the lights at one of the premier college baseball facilities in the nation The fall camp will allow players a chance to work on their skills in game situations and at the same time be instructed by UVSC coaches and players. The camp will consist of four teams made up of 15-18 players play-ers per team The season will begin with a practice session on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. Games will be played on Monday Mon-day and Thursday nights beginning begin-ning on Sept 26 through Oct. 20. Each team will play two games per week for a total of eight. Game times will be at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. each night. Campers will continue to be instructed by Wolverine coaches and players throughout the season. Timpanogos Coach Jeni Vi-ernes Vi-ernes said, "This game leaves us with a 2-1-0 record in region. re-gion. I was happy how we did offensively. I do wish we could have finished a lot more opportunities. We did get a lot of opportunities. If we can focus on possession and winning win-ning 50-50 balls, we can beat anybody." Timpanogos had frustrations frustra-tions of its own, especially during the first half. To hunt that day, hunters must be a Hunter Education safety course graduate; possess a small game or combi nation license; li-cense; and be accompanied by a parent or an adult who's at least 21 years of age. The adult may not hunt or possess a firearm and must supervise the young people they take. An adult may take as many young people as they'd like.
