The day-long session is the second regional consumer conference con-ference developed in cooperation coopera-tion with President Johnson's Commission on Consumer Interests, In-terests, and will bring together women's groups, retailing experts, ex-perts, consumer's groups, labor la-bor representatives, government govern-ment officials and educator specialists from Idaho, Nevada Colorado, Wyoming and Utah. Consumers from the midwest region met at the inital form in St. Louis on April 16. Mrs. Esther Peterson, assistant assis-tant secretary of Labor and President Johnson's special assistant for consumer affairs, will address the morning session sess-ion at . the Newhouse Hotel. Other morning sections will concentrate on consumer problems prob-lems in food purchasing, with brief current reports by producer, pro-ducer, processor, distributor, labor, government, and educator educa-tor representatives followed by informal consumer small-group small-group discussion. Lieutenant Olson, selected for OTS through competitive examination, is being assigned to the Air Training Commands (ATC) Lowry AFB, Colo., for training as an aerospace munitions mun-itions officer. ATC trains airmen air-men and officers in the diverse di-verse skills required by the nation's aerospace force.
