Lloyd, dean of students. A freshman at BYU, Mr. Katzenback Kat-zenback has not yet chosen a major. He is the son of Mr. and Mr$. R. L. Katzenback. He attended at-tended Brush and BY high schools. Mrs. Wanda Daley and Lenora Olsen were in charge of the program and all the Primary children took part. Music was under the direction of Elna and LaDawn Perry. Speaking parts were by Hermine Hill, Mr. and Mrs. Justin Colyar, David Er-canbrack, Er-canbrack, Billie Wilkins, Pat Hansen, Glen Bullock, Shanna Olsen, Bobbie Elliott, Jay and David Colyar, Norma Jean Ash-ton Ash-ton and Nan Colvin. New Orem Church To Meet Sunday At Library The next meeting of a community com-munity church recently organized organiz-ed in Orem will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Orem Public Library, according to T. R- Barrett, Bar-rett, chairman of the organizing organiz-ing committee. A board of trustees, a treasurer, and a clerk will be elected. According to Mr. Barnett, the new church has been organized to meet the needs of people in the community who have no church affiliations. All types of wholesome activities will be fostered by the church. Anyone interested in joining the group is invited to attend the meeting on Sunday. OF Club Member Tells of Eastern Trip Members of the OF Club met at the home of Mrs. Moroni Jensen. Jen-sen. Mrs. Julian Fronk entertained enter-tained the group by relating highlights of her recent trip to New York. Bouquets of pink carnations and blue dutch iris decorated the rooms. Mr Snell is the new manager of tne Mountain States Telephone and Telegraph Company for the southern part of the state. He reported that the terrific growth grow-th of Orem had increased the number of telephones from S00 to over 1,500. This has all happened hap-pened in the last four years. Mr. and Mrs. Snell were particularly particular-ly interested in the fine recreation recreat-ion program that we are building build-ing in Orem. "I believe," he said, "there is nothine that will pay greater dividends than having activities to keep the boys and girls busy. I am sure too tnai this fine theatre is having a cul tural influence on the development develop-ment of your community." The picture playing Friday and Saturday is Paramount' special, "BRANDED" filmed in Technicolor and featuring Alan Ladd and Mona Freeman. The picture was made in the beautiful beauti-ful rugged Rocky Mountains. For those who like "good" west erns they will find ihas most excellent entertainment. Monday, Tuesday and Wed nesday we have a great family program. The picture NEVER A DULL MOMENT is filled with laughs a plenty. Fred MacMur ray and Irene Dunne move onto a ranch. The story is similar to "The Egg and I". As a second part of this program we present pres-ent a feature entitled "THE M.G.M. STORY". This takes you to the studio of Melro-Goldwyn-Mayer, the largest producing company in the world. Here you will actually see them producing the pictures that you will see on the screen during the next three or four months. Parts of the pictures are shown including the great "Quo Vadis" which the company has been filming in Italy during the last year. Mr. McFarland has been a theatre manager for the past 30 years working in half a dozen different communities. When he learned that Scera had been built and used for ten years, he made this declaration: "From the looks of your furniture and seats I judged the theatre to have been in use less than a year.
