Carter of Orem. and Leland Erickson. Mr. Erickson is the son of Mrs. Millie Erickson of Salt Lake City and the late Edwin Erick son- Miss Carter is a graduate of the Lincoln nich school and the Sharon seminary. She spent two years in Canada as an LDS mis- siorary. A Erickson will graduate from the University of Utah in June. He is a graduate of South high school and seminary in Salt Lake City and filled a mission miss-ion for the LDS church in the western states. He was in the army for three years during World War II. Proceeds from the affair will go toward financing an outdoor fireplace as the first step in the development of a picnic area on the Scera grounds. SHARON STAKE PRIMARY WORKERS MEET The March union meeting for and teachers was held last week j at the Edgomont hall. Stake officers of-ficers announce that 124 of the 146 Primary workers in the stake were present at the meet ing. Edgemont ward had 100 prcent attendance, with one sub stitution. The Bluebird girls of Grand view ward sang "The Lord's Prayer under the direction of Ina Bcardall, stake chorister-Edna chorister-Edna Waters teaches the group. LAFF OF THE WEEK Royal Rawlinas was thrown from a horse recently ana re ceived a broken leg and other injuries. He has been at the Utah Ut-ah Valley hospital for the past two weeks. "r.yCSsr -- Dreamers Holiday Portrayed at Geneva Ward Social Dolores Adamson was crown ed aueen of Geneva ward's Gold and Green Ball on Tuesday evening ev-ening to climax one of the prettiest socials ever conducted by the ward- Attendants to the aueen were Kathryn Christenson, Anna Lou Judd, Ina Skinner and Gena Vee Steele. Crown bearer was Douglas Finch and pages were Gay tatheringham and Lois Jensen- Flower girls were Caro lyn Childs and Janet Rohbock. The theme of the ball was 'Dreamer's Holiday" and was carried out with swans on a lake, a waterfall, huge butter flies and trees on which similat ed money was erowinsr. The Gold and Green waltz was presented as part of the floor show and featured Mr, and Mrs. Doral Graff. Lovena Rowley and Kay Baker, Helen Maycock and Thomas Patten, and Kathryn Christenson and Dean Adams. Gav Fotherine ham and Lois Jensen presented a novelty taD dance. In charge of the refreshment table was Mrs. M, Verne Thur- ber. Officers of the Youns Men's and Young Women's MIA of the ward comprised the general committee for the social.
