Show O REM -GENEVA TIMES The Daughters of Utah Pioneers, Edgemont Camp, met on Thursday at the home of Mrs. Florence Unthank. Mrs. Almira Johnson was assisting hostess. Business of the meeting includ ed the appointment of delegates to the state convention. There were 12 present. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Steele, GenaVee and DeNec Steele and Mr. and Mrs. Que Steele and Coreyne attended a family dinner at the home of Mrs. Wassel Washburn. The group attended the farewell testimonial honoring Elder Burk Washburn that evening. CORRECTION In last week's paper it was erroneously stated that profits from the sale in liquor in Utah were distributed to cities on a population basis for the main tenance of Class 'B and C roads Actually the liquor profits are distributed for use in health safety and welfare. Orem was well represented represent-ed at the 28th Annual Fellow ship Meeting of the Boy Scouts of the Utah National Parks Council held at the Joseph Smith building on Saturday. Boyd Davis helped plan the program pro-gram and was in charge of the presentation of Silver Beaver awards to four scouters. Bird of Salt Lake City visited with Mrs- Booth at her home. The children were served when they came from school and the adults at 6 p.m. The Relief Society was in charge of preparing and serving serv-ing the dinner. Funds are to go to the Welfare farm. Daniel Seegmiller of St. George visited at the home of his son, Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow A. Seegmiller over the weekend. Mr- and Mrs. Adelbert Hatch, Ronald and Kay visited in Salt Lake City on Thursday and Sunday. They report that Leo Hatch was feeling better on Sunday after having redeived about 60 patches of skin-graft during the week. , Mrs. Albert Mott, who is convalescing from an' extended illness, is with her mother, Mrs. Jack Ruddy of Park City. Phil Shumway, who has been attending the University Univer-sity of Minnesota this winter, was in Orem last week. He was making arrantements to Joifciv the BYU faculty and had come to Utah to be interviewed. He and his family will return to Orem in July or August, after he receives his master's degree.
