They will visit with Mrs. Hull's folks and see points of interest on the trip. Mrs. Henry D. Jones has returned re-turned from a trip to Omaha, where she went to attend the wedding parties being given for her son and his bride, who were married recently in New York. Her aunt, Mrs. George Shively of Omaha came to Utah with her and is visiting at the Jones home. A cousin, Mrs. Giles, and her son and daughter, Jack and Marion of Omaha have also arrived for a short vacation and visit with Mrs. Jones. They plan to visit Saltair and other places of interest in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Eldon Messick has her sister, Mrs. Ida Pierson of Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove visiting with her this week. Mrs. and Mrs. H. S. Richards Jiave had as their guests this week, the R. Q. Pusey family of Denver. Mrs. Pusey and Mrs- Richards are sisters. A number of events and short trips are planned. Ward members are happy to see Mrs. Gillespie out again after her recent operation and illness. The Edgemont Literary club meeting has been postponed for this week. Every one of the. club members seem to be so busy. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Udall and family have moved from the ward to a larger apartment in Timpanogos ward. Mr. Udall has served in the ward as a Sunday School teacher and as the class leader in the Seventies group. Mrs- Udall has taught the Bluebird class in the Primary. Pri-mary. I Mr. and Mrs. W. C. The average Utah family spent $3207 for retail purchases compared with the national average of $2955. In Salt Lake City the Buying Income was $6236 (45 per cent above .national average).
