Mr Smith explains that the rouny committee has the responsibility respon-sibility of seeing that funds used to assist farmers in carrying out conservation practices are used to obtain the maximum of soil j ..ratpr conservation. Assist ant! , meets specified slopes and dimensions. di-mensions. ' The same is true of other practices. Some farmers fail to qualify for assistance because they did not understand what was re quired. The committee doesn't want any farmer to carry out practices and then find that assistance ass-istance cannot be given because the pratices fail to meet specifications. specif-ications. Farmers are also reminded of their responsibility in reporting ence of conservation practices carried out. Measurements, price slips, analysis tags, or whatever is required should be obtained at the time the material is purchased pur-chased or the practice carried out. A little attention to these matters now, said the county chairman, will save time and money later on, and only in this way can the nation be assured :.. tn Violn a fnrmpr rt IC I' I U 1 L - r 1 h ild a dam ony when the dam of maximum conservation : :: XftO yM Four pints at a me MIRRO-MATIC PRESSURE PAN GRAND VIEW Lucy I- Clyde 030-R4 Mr. and Mrs. David Johnson of Salt Lake City visited with relatives and friends here dur ing the week.
