AQUEDUCT Instances of flagrant vandalism vanda-lism on completed sections of the Salt Lake Aqueduct have ocourred during the past six months, according to L. R. Dunk-ley, Dunk-ley, project engineer for the Bureau of Reclamation, Provo River Project. Miscreants who persist in using aqueduct structures east of Orem, Pleasant Grove and American Fork, for target Drac tice, will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, he de clared. Every "penalty lock" on the structure from the mouth of Provo canyon to American Fork has been damagea eeyona use by bullets from 22 of larger cali ber rifle. (Anyone tampering wun a penalty lock is liable to federal fine or imprisonment.) Parents are urged to caution children who have small cali ber rifles against endangering lives or others or causing dam age to property.
