Hair Father should have one day in the year to be loved, petted and appreciated ... for a good father is just as important as a good mother, or God wouldn't have seen fit to give a child two parents. So hats off on Father's Day, to the American Father, the best Dad in the world - For the children with Daddy's coming home from the war, it's definitely the greatest day of their lives; their eyes grow big and sparkle with pride when they brag about their "soldier daddys." For years to come the children of today will point with pride to their fathers of "World War No. II. There never has been a time in all American History when the world gav forth so many "hero daddys." What a grand privilege it Is to be a father! As a child grows into adulthood it loves and reveres its father with all the sweet memory that makes life full to the brim. It Is the father that teaches the child the adventure ad-venture of making a good living without the aid of help. . . nd to stand on his own two feet and to fight the inner battles .hat sear the souL A father should teach a child that where the spirit of Ihe Lord is, there is LIBERTY; the lessons of human brotherhood,-for, "God hath made of one blood all the nations of the earth." He should teach freedom from all prejudices, to pray often, to end all prayer? with "THY WILL BE DONE" and to abide by God's will. It is a father's privilege to teach Faith as our heritage, a faith in God and humanity. It if his divine right to teach a child the source of eternal greatness and that truth should extend over the hand of all things, even love. To teach a child to dream of i hetter world to come, a better way of life. To teach there RIGHT. AND WRONG ... and that to have and hold only ideals 3f high Intent. They left for the mission home Monday. Mon-day. Last Monday evening the ward officers met in a Bishop's meeting where they discussed and voted for new organ for the ward. This new organ is one of the finest made and all who do contribute to it will be thrilled thrill-ed when they hear it played. Mrs. Preal Jones accompanied accompani-ed her son Ferron Jones to the Idaho Falls temple where he was married Wednesday, June 12th Miss Ruth Huchison of Florida. Harold and Laraine (Jones) Nielsen are rejoicing over the arrival of a baby boy born Wednesday Wed-nesday June 12th. Mother and babe doing nicely. Mr. and Mrs. P. K. Nielsen entertained Saturday evening all their folks and friends who accompanied them to the Salt Lake temple on their 35th wedding anniversary Friends from Richfield, Smithfield, Salt Lake, Murray and Pennsylvania were in attendance. Mr. and Mrs. Sterling Cluff and family visited their folks Sidney Cluff at Boise, Idaho, and Grant Cluff and family at Meridian, Idaho, last week end. The Aaronic Priesthool of the ward gave a swimming party Tuesday evening at Saratoga. They had previously lost on competition with the teen age girls of the ward, , so they sponsored this outing.
