Sinclair-Calder Reception at Joseph Smith Building Mr. and Mrs. Robert B. Calder (Marjorie Sinclair) were complimented com-plimented at a reception Saturday Satur-day evening at Joseph Smith building, following their marriage mar-riage Friday in the Salt Lake temple with President J. Will Knight officiating. A profusion of roses and other brother of the groom and his lovely bride, who wore a white satin wedding gown, with dainty shoulder veil, caught up with lace cornet, and carrying bouquet of red roses. Valeen Hubbard, sister of the groom was matron of honor, with Dore-en Dore-en Bandley, Janet Barkley, June Berry, Golda Roundy and June Calder, sister of the groom as brides maids. All wore pastel shaded gowns with corresponding correspond-ing corsages. Vance Calder acted as master of ceremonies for the delight ful program during dancing; Janet Barkley sang the solo, "The Sunshine of Your Smile" and "Because", accompanied by Mrs. Sinclair; Curtis Gordon and Elizabeth Hawkins sang two duets, "You Alone" and "O Promise Me", accompanied by Miss Cumorah Gordon. Miss Nina Stratton read "In the Usual Way" and the groom's mother and her sisters, Mrs. Bernice Christensen, Mrs. Nina Stratton, accompanied by Mrs. Zola Ma-lone, Ma-lone, sang an original number "Ma" and "Tell Me Why". me reiresnment tame was centered with a beautifully decorated dec-orated wedding cake and was in cnarge of Mrs. Marlnrfo assisted by Misses Corine Partridge, Par-tridge, Emma Stratton, June Berry, Golda Roundy and Jne Caulder. Mr. and Mrs. Baumgardner were married a short, time ago and Mr. and Mrs. Meldrum were married Wednesday in the Salt Lake Temple, where they were accompanied by their parents. The hall will be decorated with baskets of roses and other summer flowers. In the receiving receiv-ing line will be the bride's parents par-ents and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Meldrum, parents of Jack. Smith Young will be best man for Mrs. Baumgardner, Mrs. Young will be matron of honor for her sister, Joyce, and Misses Theora and Rhea Sundquist will act as bridesmaids. Carolyn and Pauline Paul-ine Young will act as tralnbear-er tralnbear-er for their aunt Joyce. Jack Meldrum has selected Floyd Brereton as best man, and his lovely bride has chosen Misses Laura and Helen Mel-drum, Mel-drum, sisters of the groom and Miss Helen Burke for her bridesmaids, brides-maids, with tiny Sheila and Kar-elann Kar-elann Anderson as trainbearers. Mrs. Bernice Faulkner will be in charge of the refreshments.
