Hair I was thinking about the "Monkey business" of Darwins back a good many years ago. . . and that if we descended from monkeys, the human race would use more sense in managi ing their affairs than they do When I get thoroughly disgusted with human behavior, I go for the Zoo. The caretaker told me a monkey had more mother in stinct than our modern women, and cared for her young in a hotter manner. Now. Eals. that's a challenge to us who think we can cope with a mans job, habits. shortcomings, even though I blush with shame for our sex, facts are facts. No matter what you thlnK oi the Darwin theory, the monkey? have their ideas on the subject, and I say it has Its merits "No monkey ever deserted hb wife, Starved her babies and ruined her life. And you've never known another an-other monk, . To leave her babies with others to bunk, Or pass them on from one to another 'Till they scarcely know who is their mother. "And another thing, you'll never see A Monk build a fence 'round a cocoanut tree And let the cocoanuts go to waste. Forbidding all other monks to taste. Why if I'd put a fence 'round a tree, Starvation would force you to steal from me. "Here's another thing a monk won't do- Get out at night and get on a stew, Or use a gun or a club or r knife. To take son 3 other monkpv' life. YES. man descended, the onrv miss But. brothers, he didn't descend irom us. ... !
