The Orem boys are returning home in numbers, they have been real soldiers and whats more they havn't forgot the home Folks either, or that Utah is a good place to live. The war has matured them, they are better prepared to face the facts of life than ever before. be-fore. They have grown to face reality, and to dream of better world for their children to live in. And looking facts squarely in the face, they are planning on doing the thing they wanted to do when just boys, dreaming of "when they grew up." It warms the heart to know that a great many are planning on farming. Hurrah! for them. They know that farming has it's drawbacks; pests, labor troubles, price controls, etc. Yet, they say,' "farming looks good to them." So if they have learned nothing more than the value a piece of the good earth, and make it produce, that farming farm-ing is security for old age; they have learned while still young, one of life's greatest Ies3ons. Farming was man's first vocation. vo-cation. It is important to sow, to cultivate, to reap. It rest3 the weary mind, builds faith and hope anew, to tiU the earth, to breath deep of the glory of clean spring air. When faith and labor walk beside the plow, the soft new broken furrows, row upon . row, beckons the Seagulls, looJto and make ready the broWiT'pwductive earth, man finds a fruitful destiny des-tiny to work in faithful fellowship fellow-ship with God. Indeed it is improtant to plan for the future; and now is the time to make plans for the farm. With spring right around the corner, and the many problems pro-blems to be met and over come, I say go ahead boys, and bushels of luck to you.
