She is litter-box trained and would make a great indoor or outdoor pet. She is between sis months and one year old. Also available for adoption is a three-month-old male black-and-white kitten, who is eager to become someone's pet for life. ! The Summit County Animal .Shelter would like to remind all dog owners of the county leash ordinance. All dogs must be leashed when hiking with their owners. The leash law is enforced, not only for the safety of your animal, but for you, the 'owner of the dog. ! The Summit County Animal Shelter is located at" 1745 S. ;Hoytsville Road in Wanship. New hours are now in effect: Monday through Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; closed Sundays. The Summit County Friends of Animals has the following dogs for adoption: "Petey," a 10-year-old neutered male small mix. He may be part husky, although he is small, 20 pounds. He is recovering from knee surgery (he was hit by a car and found on the side of the road). He is housetrained and would like to find a permanent retirement home. He was taken to the vet with an injured leg and abandoned aban-doned by his owner. His leg has healed up nicely. He is a very well behaved and tolerant cat. Friends of Animals is still in need of foster homes for all our rescued animals. Please call for more information on becoming a volunteer or providing a foster home to an abandoned or abused animal. We can't save them without with-out your help! Friends of Animals is the only locally-based Park City animal rescue organization. Our animals are rescued from the Summit County and Heber City shelters. All funds raised go directly back into helping our community. Utah's at-risk youth to train dogs The nonprofit program Save A Dog & Kids Inc., Park City, Salt Lake County and Utah County kids clubs who are teaching kids non-violence, anti-drugs, compassion compas-sion and responsibility through training puppies and performing with them all summer long are teaming up with the Utah Starzz WNBA team to send 5.000 Utah kids to the Utah Starzz games. - - .Theykvdsare sellingckejts fjpj; $10 each to corporations in books of 150 tickets, small businesses in books of 25 and individual families fami-lies who want to sponsor one child.
