Linda Gorton of Summit County Animal Control approached Snyderville Basin Recreation District with the dog park concept to be implemented at Trailside Park. A two- to three-acre fenced area with a doggy fountain and shade kiosk is proposed to give dog owners a place to play with their pets off-leash. The goal of this event is to raise the $2,000 necessary to complete the project. proj-ect. Register for the race at 9 a.m. at Trailside Park and bring your dog.
