I, eon Hedhone delighted Salt Lake City's Abbey Road crowd last week with his unique restorations of such tunes as "Shine on Harvest Moon," "Diddy Wa Diddle," and "Sheik of Araby." Leon has appeared many times on NBC-TV's Saturday Nighl Live. His voice is dark and rich as molasses, he hums, growls, vodels and imitates a trombone or a trumpet. Snow clung to the garlands of pine boughs and red ribbons which hung about the glowing windows and doors of Main Street. In the distance, the sound of sleighbells could be heard, as could the clear voices of children singing Christmas Carols. The air was filled with Holiday smells of plum pudding and Christmas gooses simmering on wood stoves all over town, and every door was open as visitors made their rounds bearing surprises and packages. As friends and neighbors drew up to a warm fire to share a glass of Christmas cheer, one must have wondered if there were indeed anything else quite like Park City during the Holiday season. This year that old fashioned holiday spirit still lingers in Park City. In keeping with the tradition of warm holiday hospitality, many merchants have decorated with pine boughs and red ribbons. Most shops will be open late and restaurants, clubs and bars will be ready to provide a good hearty meal and your favorite spirits. We know the holiday's are a hysterical time for businesses in Park City. Keeping up with tourist demands plus your own home needs is next to impossible. im-possible.
