Show Wednesday, May 5, 1976 Page 6 PouquotftQ Wins New Car in AFS Ballet gp ' Ed Pouquette and Bill Mawhlnny Ed Pouquette, a local member of the professional American Freestyle Skiers, returned to Park City last week to pick up the keys to his new Chevrolet Chevetle, won recently in Heavenly Valley, Calif. . Park City Chevrolet dealer Bill Mawhinhey presented Pouquette with the new car" awarded for placing first in the Chevrolet Free Style ballet competition. In addition to his first place finish at Heavenly Valley, Pouquette 's successful season included a second at Keystone, Cold, and third at Boine Mt., Mich. The local skier finished fourth overall in the AFS ballet category despite an injury which prevented him from competing com-peting in some important contests. The new car owner's plans for the summer will take him to Washington for June and July where he will instruct at Airborne Eddie's Freestyle Clinic. He will be back in Park City at the end of July to teach at Bob Theobald's clinic. , When asked what he in- Young Takes Up Wild Life Roy L. Young was elected to the chairman's seat of the Utah Wildlife Board for the second consecutive year at the most recent meeting of the board. The meeting was held Saturday, April 24, in Salt Lake City. The Utah Wildlife Board was established by the State Legislature with the powers to "...investigate and determine the facts relative to the wildlife resources of this state.. Upon a determination deter-mination of these facts, the wildlife board shall establish the policies best designed to accomplish the purposes and fulfill the intent of all laws pertaining to wildlife and the preservation, protection, conservation, perpetuation, introduction 4 and management of wildlife..." Young has been a member of the Wildlife Board since 1971. Young has lived in the small town of Milford, Utah, since 1940 and has been active in community and i county activities. He has been affiliated af-filiated with the Milford Wildlife Federation since its inception some 30 years ago. He is currently serving in hfe third year as Mayor of Milford.
