Salt Lake City and the various irrigation companies of Salt Lake countv have in contemplation a gigantic lawsuit over the water question, which will involve nearly every inhabitant in Utah county. Definite action has not yet been taken, but it is expected that the action will be commenced in a few weeks. The whole question will turn on w hether or not Utah lake, in the eje of the law, is to be considered as a reservoir, or not. Should the lake be considered to be a reservoir, a claim will be laid to all waters flowing flow-ing into it, that are not covered by appropriations back of 1880. Now, Mr. Larsen is a good fellow, with his heart in the right place, but. In the case under discussion dis-cussion his judgment is out of plum! . Mr. Larsen seems to think the jury was at fault; and that the county attorney did the best he could.
