Is the state of the economy affecting your decisions deci-sions about your animal's care? I thought these surveys and polls were interesting enough to share. Dog Fancy magazine asked 1,600 people if they were doing things differently wi!h their pets because be-cause of money issues. Over 1,000 of those said that nothing had changed. Some responded that they would wait to add another pet. Others said that they bought fewer toys or snacks. About 100 of the responders said they bought pet insurance in case of problems during this tight economic time. On the whole, over 70 percent per-cent answered that they would continue to keep regular vet visits for vaccinations, spaying and neutering, and basic check-ups for continued good health care and preventative medicine. . A DogChannel.com poll also revealed that many pet owners will seek ways to cut back other than their animal care. .
