His wife, Joyce, who isn't so good with computers kept going to him for help. When the family found themselves deeply involved in digital photography, Chuck found he could not only help his family but others too. The result is the new how-to book, "Digital Photography, Pho-tography, Click, Then What." Not only has this book changed the way his family handles their photographs, pho-tographs, but it is helping those who purchase the book. Clifton is also offering free, two-hour classes on digital photography in Mapleton this month and in November and maybe December if the demand is high enough. Just call him at 489-1181 to reserve a seat. Clifton is even offering classes. teach you how to do it using us-ing simple step-by-step instructions. in-structions. It was written fore the beginner, intermediate interme-diate and advanced user of digital photography. "Even if you do not own a digital camera, this book can help you understand why you should own one, as well as what to look for in a digital camera," Clifton Clif-ton said. "Whether you have obtained ob-tained your digital photos pho-tos by the click of a digital digi-tal camera, the click of a scanner button or by the click of a mouse button as you get them in e-mails or from the Internet, you can use this book to organize, modify, print, share, use and preserve your digital photos at your own level of proficiency," said Clifton. After you take a digital picture, it then becomes a computer issue he said. "Common sense dictates that you would want to learn what to do next from a software expert." The book can help you learn to scan all those photos, pho-tos, slides and negatives you have laying around in boxes so that they will be preserved properly. It will also help you organize those photos so that you can find them. You will learn to share photos on your computer with anyone, all over the world at no cost. And you will learn to make your own digital photo calendar, calen-dar, photo journal, photo stickers or photo return address labels. Scrapbook people can really gain from this book, and the automatic recording record-ing of dates that comes in using digital photos is wonderful according to Clifton. Charter school child find ASK THE DENTIST Dental insurance Dr. M. Kelly Soutas D.M.D., P.C. I have been unhappy with my dental insurance offered through my work. The plan only allows me to go to certain dentists and doesn't pay that well. I know that it is up for renewal for the upcoming year. Any suggestions? Yes. The best person to contact is the human resource re-source department at your work. Ask to speak to whomever is in charge of the benefits package for employees. Let that person know of your concerns. Ask them if they can sign up for a plan that allows you to see a dentist of your choice. This is usually a non PPO plan. This will pay much better usually and also allow you to see the dentist that you want to go to instead of having the insurance insur-ance company dictate who you have to see as your dental provider. Dr. Soutas is owner and operator of A Place to Smile in Springville. You can e-mail him at Dr Soutas at aplacetosmilemsn.com.
