Smith, 68, wbo died Monday at his home after a lingering illness, will be conducted Thursday at 1 p. m. kt Anderson and Sons mortuary in American Fork by John W. Pulley, Pul-ley, bishop. , Mr. Smith was born June 8 J875, at American Fork, son of David T. and Saran e. reete Smith. He had resided in Ameri can Fork his entire life, following mining as his life's work. Friends may call at the place of the funeral prior to services. Burial will be in American Fork cemetery. Surviving are his widow; two sons, Thomas A. Abel Tremonton, and Francis B. Abel, American Fork; four daughters, Mrs. Lottie Lot-tie A. Munns and Mrs. Rosa Christensen, Tremonton: Mrs. May Clarkson, Provo, and Mrs. Meada Hunsaker, American Fork; 67 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren. Spanish Fork canyon, can-yon, three mles east of Spanish Fork Monday morning. No esti mate or the damage has been re leased by the management, but large quantities of flour and other material from which powder is manufactured, was destroyed.
