Merrill, who enlisted in the Marines, in October, left Salt Lake City Monday night for Camp Le jeune, New River. North Carolina, where -she will receive her basic training. Miss Merrill was graduated from the B.Y.U. to '41, with a major in journalism. She was employed In Sacramento, Calif., and recently, at Geneva Steel, as a stenographer In the electrical department.
