Allred, son of Mr. and Mrs. S. L. Allred of Price, . Saturday morning. morn-ing. The ceremony was performed at 10 o'clock by Judge J. W. Hammond, Ham-mond, at the home of the bride-. bride-. groom's parents, only immediate family members and friends being in attendance. The bride wore a smart tailored suit of carmel gaberdine, gab-erdine, with matching accessories, and a corsage of gardenias. The bride, who has been employed em-ployed in Price, is well known in Provo, and in Logan, where attended at-tended the U. S. A. C. Mr. Allred is also a former Logan resident. Stevens of Provo, which took place in Salt Lake City, April 17. The bride is a graduate of the Price high school, and has attended the B. Y. U. for three years. Light refreshments were .served at the close of the program, the club colors rose and green being cleverly carried out on the trays. WoineS Hold Election The Provo High School Women elected officers for the ensuing year, at a meeting held In tt faculty room at the school Saturday Sat-urday afternoon. Mrs. H. R- Staheli, retiring president, was in charge. Mrs. Kenneth Weight was elected president; Mrs. Milton Marshall, vice president and Mrs. Griffith Kimball secretary and treasurer. A fine review of the book, "Man, Bread and Destiny," by C."C. Furnace, was given by Mrs. Ole E. Olsen,. L. Lea, also of this city, were married Friday afternoon by County Clerk Clarence A. Grant, at his office in the city and county building. The parents and close family members were present, and a weddiqg dinner followed at the home of the groom's sister, and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Mel-don Mel-don Chapman. Covers were laid for 10 guests. Both are attending the Provo high school. Yesharah Club Holds Session An interesting affair of Satur- day evening, was the Yesharah club ("Y" women missionaries) meeting held in Pleasant Grove, at the home of Mrs. Harry Rich- In attendance were: Mrs. Lena Fenton, Mrs. Lydia Hilton and Mrs. Donna Ash were hostesses. Several vocal selections were furnished by a trio, composed of Marilyn Richards, Beth Meeks and Virginia Jacob, Miss Vilate Ellott gave an interesting sketch of the life-of President Benjamin H. Cluff who resigned as head of the, B Y.U. in 1904, and there following a fine sketch of the life of President Presi-dent Franklin S. Harris of the "Y" by Miss Ileen Ann Waspe. Miss Elizabeth Souter, chairman for the annual breakfast, appointed appoint-ed committees. A tasty luncheon was served and the rooms were br.'ht with daffodils.
