E. and Grace L. Smith Cheever on East Center street, Sunday afternoon. The affair was held on the lawn and was attended by 121 relatives, including many from out of town, who gathered to celebrate Mrs. Cheever's birthday anniversary, which occurred on May 14. Mrs. Cheever is the only living child of pioneer George A. Smith. A delicious picnic luncheon was enjoyed on the lawn, and a short program was lurnished. Readings were given by Lucile and Mary Kemp, and Mrs. Minnie Wilson ot Vernal paid a tribute, "To Aunt Grace." A permanent family organization organiza-tion was effected, and it is planned plan-ned to hold a reunion at least once a year at which time all descendants descend-ants of the iate Patriarch John and Clarissa Lyman Smith will gather together. Their children were George Albert Smith, Caroline Caro-line S. Calilster and John Lyman Smith.
